In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Bad Experience with Carson Phelps of Herps Etc

Refund:
I stated in the beginning that guy had requested other reptiles

He asked for proof
I do not have any it was all done verbally

Carson, for me personally we are so close to ending this thread I can taste it.
Carson says he has no actual "proof", great!!

Guy, do you have any "proof" regarding your agreement once the original deal fell apart?
If you do, great!!
If you don't, great too!!

We are about to at least set in stone the fact we are all caught in a permanent limbo of he said/she said for lack of "proof" from either side, OR we are about to get the "proof" that Guy has.

Finally!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The new deal was 1.0 pied, 0.2 het pied, 0.2 yellowbellies, 2- 2013 Co Dominant Her Ultramel and one 2013 Spark, which I was to received by end of September 2013.

The agreement was that guy would receive multiple babies from the ultramel and spark breeding. Neither of those males bred last season which I stated in a prior post. so that voided our agreement and we needed to resolve this transaction in another way.

Carson, Guy says that he was to receive a pied male, and 2 het pied females. You don't mention those in your count. Did you have pieds and hets available any time in the past 22 months? Was he only going to get pieds if they came from the ultramel and spark breedings?

To answer guys questions

Misunderstanding on our agreement:

The agreement was that guy would receive multiple babies from the ultramel and spark breeding. Neither of those males bred last season which I stated in a prior post. so that voided our agreement and we needed to resolve this transaction in another way.

Timing
once we discussed the breeding of those males I had told guy it was going to be some time before these males would ready to breed due to fact they were babies
That's one of the major reasons this transaction had taken so long

Refund:
I stated in the beginning that guy had requested other reptiles
We had went back and fourth with different species when we came up with the ball pythons (breeding deal)
Guy has received his $2975.
He requested that I send it overnite delivery which was a Saturday delivery that was $25 which he offered to pay with a Total of $3000
If guy wants $25 to make it whole I have no problem sending him $25

He asked for proof
I do not have any it was all done verbally

I offered guy a ball python package for the incovience of this whole transaction
Which is only rite

The package will be shipped out this Thursday via airlines

Guy will receive the following

1.0 2013 vanilla pewter
0.2 2013 Mojave
0.1 2013 Yb

You seem to get side tracked easily. Why do you keep avoiding the original deal with "Steve Miles? Here is the question in simple form which only rrquires a yes/no answer. Did Guy ask for a refund when tje ORIGINAL DEAL with "Steve Miles" went south? Yes or no.

Dave guy and myself went back and fourth with different options
As I stated somewhere in this long Axx thread

Pieds, banana etc

It needed to end

The refund was sent the ball package will be received Thursday

I appolgize to guy for this dragging out this long

As far as pieds goes

About 6 months out of the year I usually have pieds and hets
Ill have combo etc in the next 30 days

I stated everything was verbal communication

Chris NO there's the answer

After the corns couldn't be produced, and balls were initially brought up, you didn't come up with a set number of animals of specific morphs for repayment? Even up until September when he found out that the animals he was supposed to get were not produced, Guy should not have been expecting what he describes as the settled upon agreement? You were "Going back and forth?" Or was there a list?

You may have gone back and forth in getting to the list, but Guy's first post gives the impression that he knew what he was supposed to get, and it included pieds.

You can be done with this thread if you like. Your "ball package" is a good addition for damage control, but there will be people that read the thread that will not feel that the end justifies the means. I know that you do not feel like you need to say anything more, but answering questions, and putting up a little bit of a fight (putting in some effort to help people believe you) would go a long way in making future customers more comfortable.

Wraith, as far as having reports and copies of letters, etc, I'm really not surprised he doesn't still have them. But then, I don't keep up with things like that years later. However, at least Carson is claiming to have done *something* besides logging onto the internet three years loan the road to recover the money, so who does it seem more important to? Guy has had Carson's contact info, why didn't he go through small claims court or make a police report (aka the *actual* appropriate channels)? Why, after the first deal went south, didn't he get anything in writing?

If Carson's "lawyer" sent the letter per his request, then the lawyer would have a copy on file that Carson could have requested. Lawyers do tend to keep that kind of stuff for legal reasons.

I hear ya Dave

As far as ultramel and and sparks go

We talk about it but never really settled on what he would receive. Due to the fact I wasn't sure what was going to come out of each clutch

All I said was a bunch of het ultramel, combo het ultramel, spark and combos

Once those males didn't breed we were back to square one

It never made it past " square one" being the second Guy's cash was in your hand.

...Carson had no intention of completing our deal and I would not see the snakes or my money back. The new deal was 1.0 pied, 0.2 het pied, 0.2 yellowbellies, 2- 2013 Co Dominant Her Ultramel and one 2013 Spark, which I was to received by end of September 2013.

There were only 3 animals dependent on those breedings. 2 het ultramels, and 1 Spark.

5 other animals were listed that had nothing to do with those breedings, none of which you mentioned in your responses. Did Guy make the numbers up? I know that you had no idea what would come from the 2 clutches that didn't happen. It is reasonable to assume though, that someone shipping 1000 packages a year, and dealing with so many ball pythons would have had no difficulty coming up with 1 pied male, 2 het pied females, and 2 yellow belly females.

So, where did Guy get his numbers?

As a side note, I think it is pretty crappy that you capitalize everyone's name except Guy's. I don't know if it is intentional or not, but it sure looks petty. I don't care if he is paid off, and he bruised your reputation by coming here. He is the one out $3,000 for 3 breeding seasons, regardless of the reason (even if they are legitimate). He respected you enough to deposit
$3, 000 into your account, for animals I assume he never saw.

Well, that brings up another question, that may have been answered already. Did Guy ever see the pictures that you saw? If not, why not? If so, I wonder if he still has them.

My email is getting blown up over this crap, so I'm going to address some things.

Nice try Paige. Don't think so. There's no "misconstruing" about the two posts which speak volumes about your deceptive nature. Who should take you seriously now? The only one here "selectively" reading is you. Funny how you have those "why didn't he" questions for Guy, yet none for Carson. Just excuse after excuse. Just like Carson.

Chris, I've asked all of my "why didn't you" questions to Carson directly because he's actually around answering questions.

You're not QUITE SURE why I was asking you to divulge personal information for him that you don't possess and there's NO LOGICAL REASON to assume that you had access to? Really. That was some acting job. EVERY DETAIL FROM DAY ONE. No twisting those words around.

Ok, let me break this down into baby steps for your reading comprehension skills are apparently lacking. I do not know Carson in person. I've never seen him outside of photos on facebook (and even then, I'm not sure if I've seen those). I've never been face-to-face with him. I've never been to New England aside from one time when I was six and flew through New York (does that count?), so I've certainly never been to New Jersey or Pennsylvania or anywhere near where he lives. As far as I know, he's never been to Alabama or anywhere near where I live. Carson. And. I. Have. Never. Met. Is that clear enough? We've talked on the phone and we've talked on facebook. The first time I ever in my life talked on the phone with him was AFTER the first few times that I posted in this thread. He and I are in a couple of the same groups on facebook, which is how I know of him there. The first time we messaged on facebook was the same day that we talked on the phone for the first time. That was "day one" in my book.
Now, would you like to actually accuse me of something or are you satisfied with making snide remarks and innuendos? Honestly, I think it's pretty sad that you're such a sorry excuse for a human being that you can't comprehend someone standing up for someone else without ulterior motive, which makes me wonder what connection you have to Guy that you're denying.

Actually, Wraith, they don't usually. If it's a letter sent as part of a legal proceeding (such as a lawsuit), it generally gets stored. If it's a letter sent as a favor, a scare tactic, an initial attempt to make contact with a third party that isn't responded to, things like that, it usually gets shredded and trashed. Even if it is kept, there's no telling where it's stored. The law office that I work in has an entire building devoted to storage of old files that we have to keep for a certain length of time (financial law, everything gets stored for 7+ years) where everything is out of order and only one person in our office knows how to navigate it. It's total chaos, which I've found seems to be the norm for law offices.

Paige, I think maybe you and Chris just have different interpretations on what personal means. You think it means in person or face to face, where I lean more towards Chris' thinking that it means anything outside of a businesss relationship. If you speak with him on the phone or on FB then you have a personal relationship with him

Troll, drama queen, sorry excuse for a human being, baby steps, lacking comprehension skills? Sounds like the rantings of someone who is very angry and frustrated. That's how people act when they get exposed for being the opposite of what they'd like to be portrayed as. I love how you, like Carson, selectively pick out little snippets of a post that you THINK benefits your agenda. Whether you met Carson or not is irrelevant and I don't believe I ever said you did. Those two posts are here for good. Fact is, you tried to be deceptive and then tripped yourself up with the second post. Wanna be mad at someone. Look in the mirror.

You may be right. Whatever you classify it as, we didn't actually start conversing outside of Facebook BP groups till after I'd already posted on here. I don't have a horse in this race. I'm a paralegal. I deal with liars and scammers all day at my job. I've gotten pretty good at recognizing them and the red flags I'm seeing are all on Guy's side. I'm not seeing any on Carson's because he's been open about where he screwed up in all this and I respect that. Guy has not taken one iota of responsibility for his part in the whole cluster****. Personal responsibility is still a thing, though it does seem to be going the way of the rotary phone. Carson should have kept better records. I think he's learned that the hard way by now. He should have pushed to get the situation resolved sooner, but this is someone he thought he had a friendship with in addition to a business relationship and having learned the hard way to keep business separate from friendship myself I have some empathy there. I'm not saying you can't do business with friends, but cutting corners and not documenting things in business because of friendship rarely ends well as he's seeing. Been there, done that, lost friends over it. It's not worth it. So maybe he assumed they were on the same page and they weren't. If so, you know what they say about assuming and he's paying for it with his reputation.
It just seems to me that a lot of people here have a hard on for destroying Carson when he doesn't affect their lives in any way. This has gone beyond some quest for justice for Guy and into the realm of witch hunt.
Also, why are none of my questions about Guy being answered and instead people are trying to shut me up? If it's really about finding the truth, why isn't he being questioned as well? Why is his word being taken as absolute truth while Carson is being given the third degree over everything he says?

What was I trying to be deceptive about? How about you stop the double-speak and just come out and say what you mean considering that you're so focused on semantics?

Truth is, I talked to Guy on the phone who called to say thanks for my support. Unlike Carson, he added nothing beyond what he submitted to this thread. Well AFTER I had Carson's number. Unlike you, I had all the info I needed right here to solidify my views on this matter long before I spoke to Guy, thus the thank you message. If anyone here has an "ulterior motive", it is the girl who based her opinions one what the accused told her while never getting the other side.
