    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've been on Fauna for close to a year. I use the classifieds on occasion and was looking to add some two-gene males to my collection when I saw Carson's name.

And that's why I won't ever be the middle man when money is involved!

Most people file small claims paperwork when someone from out of state takes their money? What happens most of the time after that?

I think Guy did the right thing by keeping communication with Carson civil in an attempt to get something/anything back. When it seemed like he was being strung along, he used an avenue that people in other situations don't have. He came to a place where Carson's potential customers shop, and shared his experience. He has something to show for that. What is the likelihood that he would have anything at all if he sued?

Little miss paralegal, he did indeed get something in writing. I'm sure you know that writings between two parties can be evidence of an agreement, and the two parties have posted quite a bit here.

Other than that, it seems as if you are blaming the victim.

What, exactly, did he get in writing prior to posting here THREE YEARS later? In all that time, he couldn't have sent an email or a text message and gotten screenshots? I've got screenshots from every single time I've sent money for snakes and have email records from every single transaction I've done from my first snake to the most recent, including with Carson who has never once protested getting things in writing. I can assure you that if he or any other person I order from doesn't deliver and I ever post on here about someone, I'll have documentation to add to lawsuits and police reports, not just my word against theirs because it would be irresponsible of me to do otherwise.
 
Little one, the proof is here now, and a BOI thread had been initiated about Steve Miles. Nice try on redirecting attention from Carson, it won't work here….

Carson didn't dispute the claims though, and is accepting responsibility, so what does Guy have to accept responsibility for?

If we give Carson the benefit of the doubt,It appears that he took the route you suggest that Guy should have taken. Carson is the one who dealt with an unknown. Carson is the one who had his contact info. Carson is the one that gave Steve Guy's money. Carson is the one who filed a police report, contacted a lawyer.

Guy has more to show for it than Carson at this point.
 
Paige, you keep saying there is no proof from Guy's end..There is plenty, including Carson's own admissions...You really need to get a grip on reality here..Just because someone doesn't get everything documented, doesn't mean there was no crime...

Carson never mentioned if he has permit to sell or posses Rat snakes!

He also lied when he stated that he called Fish and Wildlife about selling Corn snake and they said any morph is legal, so untrue!

So someone selling Illegal animals, and who keeps someone else's money for 3yrs deserves to be defended according to Paige..

If the laws are similar with snakes as they are with others, then if he's arranging the sale but isn't actually selling or in possession of the animals, then he's not breaking the rules. And was that about corns or rats?

I'm pretty sure the original question of legality was about corns rather than rats. I don't know the laws on corns or rats because I don't keep them and don't care. I was asking for clarification.
 
What amazes me is that once again Carson is watching this thread while Paige goes to bat for him. That's pathetic.
