• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Inquiry Steve Miles

I found this on Google Dave! Thought I should post it here instead of the Carson Thread

Stephen B Miles
Phone: 803-425-9718
2126 Arrowwood Rd W Camden, SC 29020-2538

Has anyone called that number yet? If not, I think a neutral, unbiasded party should call so no one can cry foul play.

Those addresses are associated with a Stephen B Miles that looks to be a contractor/mason. Still the only Steve/Stephen in the area.

People scam at all ages! I don't think a business owner in his 60's would jeopardize anything over a 3k snake deal, but as mentioned, there are no others in the area with the name. It narrows it down to him, or nobody, or someone who hides well.

If I was going to scam Guy out of 3 grand and blame a third party, I wouldn't pick a name of someone who's easy to find.

I would like to believe that Steve Miles exists, though it would be helpful if Carson had information on him. Someone could contact BHB to see if they have done business with a Steve Miles (since they supposedly came from BHB originally), but BHB probably wouldn't/couldn't give contact info.

Its the only Steve ( Stephan ) Miles I found that's in Camden SC. I didn't notice he was in Construction, but I can say being in Construction for 23yrs myself that work does slow down, especially for certain trades. That would be the time to " Look For Easy Money " in my eyes.

So, Stephen Miles, did you take $3,000 from Carson for snakes that you never delivered?

Could you tell us anything at all about a deal or history with Carson Phelps?

Stephen, I am glad you made it over here. I would have contacted you through the info I found, if I was the unbiased person that was mentioned above. This is not the thread where you were talked about, unless you are the Steve Miles that took money from Carson Phelps for snakes and never sent them. This is merely a thread to confirm existence of the Steve Miles that did. I was hoping that someone else in the reptile communnity could come forward with contact information for the Steve, or at least have dealt with him so they could say "Yup, that sounds like something Steve would do," or "Not the Steve I know...I am going to tell him about this."

No......I am not the real Stephen Miles, but look how easy it is to make a fake profile on a website, and people believe it's you. Also why the hell is everyone getting involved. Other then the broker, and the purchaser, does any of this effect you? I know it doesn't me.
