A little worried about the future for this kid... Actually, no I'm not, I'm worried about multiple Torts in his care right now. We found him flipping a Pyramid Shell'd Sulcata on a Facebook group last night. I, of course hammered away at the kid for it.

Just to find out that he has had it less than 30 days through his own posts. Furthermore, he is now trying to flip the rescued Tortoise from the Phx Herp Society for $200... and it SPECIFICALLY STATES in a contract that he signed, it goes back to them if ever unwanted...

They are not to be resold! That's it! I wanted this up, as he started banning people immediately that were on to his antics and getting bolder and bolder with each post... The kid is apparently 15yrs old, so, I just want this to be a lesson for him, and a warning for the good people of the reptile community.

He doesn't seem like a quality character to me based on what I've seen him into... Thank you for your time; I, of course, didn't bother with screenshots, so, my rep will have to hold weight... :)
 
He admitted to using a false name and information... Fwiw. This kid can not be any good! My fueled fire is now coming from his funny PM's to me. I want this out in the air. CLEARLY SHOUD BE IN RED! But, I'm trying to turn a new leaf these days! (Keyword: TRYING)

Let's see screenshots of the PMs. So far, we do not know how he keeps his critters, and buying and selling is not a bad thing if the critters have good care and vet visits when needed and if the sale is honest.
Would like to see proof of the false ID on adoption, perhaps you can get the Herp Society to say something about their adoption process.

You are perfectly within your rights to allege what you wish.
It is important to nail scammers, but just as important not to nail those who may be innocent.

Sorry I have no idea how to take a pic of the conversation so I copied and pasted it. This is my conversation with Jerron AFTER he banned me from his group. Apparently the thread is down. Bottom line I was not disrespectful in any way.....I was just saying that I thought the fact that he was flipping a reptile that he "rehabbed" for a month was wrong. I also pointed out that when you have ppl in this industry with a lot of experience and knowledge....if they offer help its good to listen to them and be respectful. Anyways I was banned and blocked. Its ok....but still....just the picture alone above shows that he is not very educated in taking care of torts...feeding it fruit messes with the PH balance

Plenty of people in that group, I would say in my opinion, are very knowledgeable and very respectful to the upcoming generation of reptile enthusiasts. And then there's people like you. Pushing them away. Saying they should get rid of their reptiles, or not being able to own one or care for one.

Easy fix. If he lied about his age and has violated the adoption contract, contact PHS with the info ... and this.
