    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It is a bummer of a situation but we only lost $30. Paypal disputed the rest after Mr. Vena decided to notify his credit card company and withdrew the purchase. Not sure the correct language there with the credit card company hold. If PayPal paid him the extra $165 then he owes that amount to PayPal.

Ah, okay.
Good to see that it was only $30, that you lost, rather than the entire amount.
Although, if 10 Axolotls were not missing, it would be $30 too much.
Either way, considering it could have been worse, it turned out "okay".

To be fair it wasn't until post #21 that ChameleonCans clarified only $30 was returned and not the entire $195. Until that point I also thought the entire order had been stolen, and more than one member tossed the words "theif" and "stolen" around. Considering the seller insists they sent the complete order amount (plus extra) and a chargeback was filed regardless, the label "thief" might be accurate and not libel whatsoever.
 
Only 15-20 were "stolen" from me but the remaining 40 were "stolen" from PayPal. Regardless of the lack of proof I have, there is plenty of evidence that the axolotl were stolen from PayPal as the complete $195 was refunded to Mr. Vena. He ended the deal with 40-60 axolotl and $195.

That was something I was thinking about after learning that you only lost $30. If Mr. Vena sought a full refund (as it appears), it would still make him a person wanting/seeking to get something for nothing.

If there is a possibility of legal actions, please delete my posts. I don't have time to mess with it. However, I do believe that a few people, Jacob included, where planning on buying thousands of dollars worth of reptiles until they saw this post by Mr. Vena.

This will not be removed, ever. If you're going to make empty threats, you might consider proofreading them next time. You messed up your dates - it's 2014, and I doubt you really meant that the court would issue "penitiles". I'm not sure what those are, but it sounds like something a reptile would have two of.

Does anyone who threatens a lawsuit in this manner ever go through with it? " My Brother is a lawyer and where gonna sue you" Or Im suing for liable, slander et. It never happens. So, you openly admit you originally attempted to charge back the entire $195.00 cost of your purchase, even though you actually did receive at least 40 of the 50 ordered? And then want to brag about it? Yeah, okay.

Additionally, even if they do not have a Live Arrival Guarantee in place, you freely chose to place an order. That said, I personally will never order from a vendor who only advertises on FB and does not have full TOS disclosed. Fail #1.

Phil the only way you would have a leg to stand on is if you had paid for overnight shipping and all of the axolotl came in dead, neither of which happened.....and you received a full refund, isn't that fraud?
But it is nice that you offered all of us penitiles....thanks but I will probably just pick some up locally.
