    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What morph is this?

I was looking on my local craigslist classifieds and saw this boa, shes said to be only a Colombian hypo but her saddle pattern and tail imply otherwise in my opinion but what do you guys think she is?

She's not an arabesque, either....and not quite a circleback. I have seen some speculation that circlebacks (and near circlebacks) come from arabesque lines, though.

nice normal, I've seen the same ladder tail type come a lot in Central American boas. I had one on a loan here a long time ago that looked very much like that one, I don't have the photos handy as they are actual photos back when cameras had film LOL

I had to look up what the heck a Keltic was, found this description on another site "Originally named Czech lined Arabesque. There was believed to have been a super born in 2012, although more breedings are needed to confirm if there is in fact a super (homozygous) form of the morph."

Boas are highly variable and circle back/ladder tail type patterns are not totally un-common, while the general likeness to the arab and/or keltic is seen in the pattern, that doesn't mean it is that morph.

Just comparing the two pics you posted, you'll notice the 'keltic' (you'll have to pardon me but I am rather wary of quite a few of these European morphs, doesn't mean they aren't a morph, just that I've seen ones touted as the next big thing not pan out the way they are hyped). ANYWAYS, the 'Keltic' has lines of lighter color that border the circleback pattern, the saddles do not extend down into the lateral pattern. The boa you have does not display those traits.

You have a beautiful boa, please don't devalue your opinion of the animal simply because we are telling you it's a normal variation, CBLT could be hereditary in the general sense that babies from CBLTs are more likely to pass that trait along as with any trait a boa has (high pink, low speckles, etc).

good luck!
