    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi everyone
I picked up a female Jungle het lipstick from Matt Jackson and a hypo het lipstick from Mike Masters and it took all of 1 day for this to happen.
I am hoping for my 1st sunglow jungle.Hopefully with a crazy pattern.

Not a good pic,but it shows him trying . Didnt want to play around and disturb
him.
I bought 3 animals from Matt and all are breeding at the moment.
Thanks Matt- Will have a nice baby for you brother.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I don't like being interrupted doing the deed myself so I'm not asking you to do it to them, but was wondering if you had any photos of each prior to introducing them? I would love to see what each look like.
 
Sorry Chris. I have not taken pics of these yet. If they move out from the hide i will try to take a pic without disturbing too much. I didnt plan on the breeding but i ran out of cage space and decide to put the male in with her and he was on it quickly. So,now its a hopefull litter of healthy babies.
This will be one of my favorite breedings this year. lipstick to lipstick. Cannot wait to see if i get a nice lipstick sunglow jungle.
 
Cool deal, but yea don't disturb them on my account. I'm sure I'll get to see them eventually & only was curious because I seen both of them guys around here with some amazing animals. I didn't see when you added these to your collection so not sure exactly how long you had each of these beauty's but if it was recent be careful if there was no quarantine. I mean that with no disrespect to anyone, I hold you & both of the gentlemen that produced/sold you these snakes in very high regards due to the great reputations I seen them earn here, just better safe then sorry when it comes to a collection nice as yours.
 
I hear you Chris. I do quarantine in almost all cases.But,i have been dealing with Mike for awhile now and have seen all his animals and held several. I'm not worried about Mike.
And Matt,he gets my respect and pretty sure his stuff is good to go. If it were not the season i would not have put them together,but i had no real choice since i was 1 cage short. I guess i could have put him in a tote tub. But in trusting these 2 long time breeders and their love for boa's,i am not too concerned with this. It is a chance no matter what.I would not do this with just anyone. Thanks for your concern. I would not be happy if any got sick.
I do own a lot of Mikes babies and will be buying/trading more with him.
My quarantine room has just Matts 3 boa's and 1 of Mike's. So hopefully they are all ok.
 
yea, I think you'll be fine. Keep me posted & in mind on the outcome of these two though. Depending on my pair I might need a really nice 1.0 sunglow in a few months.
 
Chris, I had the exacty same thought. I'm sure both the seller and Rich are highly capable and responsible herpers...but it pays to be extra careful.
 
Unfortunately one didn't prove out and was sold as 100% het lipstick. But so was the male. Which we have an email from owner and breeder of male stating he will back it up.

Matt Jackson is another story. I wouldn't buy hets from him again. That's for sure.

This fall might give me what your looking for,but,I don't have any myself. So,who knows how it will go.
 
I remember the situation...but I'm somewhat surprised that you sold both those animals as 100% hets, despite your results. Did that choice come back to haunt you?(Wondering because of the comment about Matt)

Not sure how to handle that. But first,the genetic could have been sold just as such since she was never bred ! So there would be no issues selling at the time you think I sold her. But,she just had a litter with a jungle sunglow here. So she was never sold to anyone. She proved het albino not stripe.

As far as the lipstick. She is still here also. So not sure why you say I sold them.
She was not bred this year due to having a litter last year and not being up to par to breed her again. But her mate is here waiting to find out once and for all.
And I would never not disclose the info of her breeding as it happened. I'm not about to ruin my little rep for a few hundred $ ! Or any amount.

As far as the comment on him,I don't trust him for a couple reasons.
