In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Taking a shower. Had hair full of shampoo. Something large lands on my neck and starts crawling. Stink bug dead. Clean up and repairs tomorrow.

:ack2:

Sounds like you REALLY needed that shower!

:iagree:

And yeah, I'm betting the shower doesn't work right now because you probably tore the hell out of it trying to get that nasty icky pewpew bug off you.

Shuddering ..... that's way worse than the little scorp I found when I was showering!

Lol I thought this was going to be about the meteor shower tonight that I completely forgot. Anyways great timing for a reminder!

lol, I tell you, I did some moves that would have scared Mike Tyson in his prime.

Well, it wasn't in my shower, but it was in my bathroom and sure beats a stink bug! (Sorry, Joe :))

Found this pretty little Brown snake one morning last week. And believe it or not, it's not the first snake I've found there; first one was a tiny little Ringneck.
(Maybe I should try to figure out how they get in?)

Just glad my dogs didn't get to it first!

Obviously, I didn't reset the date on my camera after I replaced the batteries.

What an adorable little snake.
Reminds me of how my father in law keeps finding these "sharp tailed snakes" (yes, that is the actual name) around their condo complex, usually outside their doorstep. My mother in law is very fearful of snakes and yells and screams in Chinese to "get away, it will kill you, it is bad luck to look at it," etc... as he laughs about her reaction. She ran away when I picked one up to identify it and release it back into the ivy. now she puts a rolled up towel at the base of the door because she is afraid they will get inside.
Kinda funny they show up in the middle of the city but I am happy some reptiles have been able to survive and adapt to the paving of their habitat.
