    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This guy sold me hornworms and silkworms, not only did they just about all show up dead of the 300 silks I purchased only 15 were in there. Also only 20 hornworms of the 90 I ordered as well. It took him a week with excuses at every corner as to why my replacements were not out. I needed these feeders for an extended trip I was taking and that was a wash. After putting it on blast on FB and seeing at least 10 others come forward that have been baited and switched or outright had money taken with nothing sent to them, he refunded my money. Please take your business to those that actually take pride in their work.

I do not need to put screen shots of everything. There are plenty that will back my claim, should I call on everyone else and have them add to my complaint? Please do not ask for detailed proof like I am a liar. A liar will not call out someone who has don't a good business transaction, as it can be proved. How many silks do you see in this tub? there were 7 in each tub I received, all dead and jumbled. I ordered 300.

Is this your first rodeo in the BOI?

I never said nor implied you were a liar. It is customary on the BOI to post as much proof as possible to back your claims so that people, especially the person in question, can't call you a liar.

And yes, it is also encouraged for other people with complaints against the individual/business to post here as well with their own proof.

If you want any help or to hold an ounce of credibility, you may want to reel it in a bit. Offering detailed proof is customary for the BOI and expected if you are calling someone out. Being defensive right out of the gate is certainly not a good way to gain support.
I did not see anyone call or even suggest that you were a liar..other than yourself of course.
 
You are right, I did not mean how it came off. I am used to BOI. I do not like calling people out as I understand that life happens and things come up. But, this situation had gone just too far. Luckily he refunded my money but yes on Chameleon Central USA page on facebook, on a post, you can see at least 6 people there that had similar problems with this seller. Some were deals that are $1000. Just sad. But yes I will take more documentation next time. I did have pics but I do not save conversations or take screen shots as it was something I was not worried about until the past 2 days he has avoided avoided avoided.

I was typing too fast and meant to put I am not used to BOI. Hence the next sentence that says I do not like calling people out, that is why I am not used to it. I am cheating and was at work while posting ;). I apologize for coming off so rude. Have a great week and be wary!
 
I know both parties involved. I feel Kamo did his best to correct the situation but he fell short. He is new to the feeder industry and I think just got overwhelmed.

Here is the story as I know it.

Sydney ordered about a $100 of feeders, which were delivered late due to Kamo putting the wrong house number.

He put the wrong address from what I heard and should have been more careful, it ended up being held at the facility for multiple days and they arrived mostly dead.
He could have handled it better but I would not write him off just yet as a "bad guy".

He did refund you, whether or not he gave you the run around is a different story.

But if you take the refund, it is typical that a bad guy boi shouldn't be made. I would personally just not do business with him again if I were in your situation but not go as far to post a bad guy boi. But that is your choice to do so of course.

In Sydney's defense, if I spent a $100 on feeders and they arrived dead I would be upset as well and expect immediate action. It seemed as if it took a little too long to get the tracking information out along with a replacement order.

I really wish you both could have worked it out as I know both of you really are good people, beyond the feeders.

That is my two cents.

I still like you both and hope you two work it out.
 
But how do you account for such a massive undercount? They didn't all come in dead, they came in dead AND incredibly short.
 
He did refund ME but if I must I will have the 6 other people I spoke with just yesterday comment on here about they have not been refunded and it has been weeks. This has not been the first rodeo for him to do this. If 13 cups of hornworms were ordered and only 3 showed up... if I ordered 300 of silkies regardless of them being dead only about 15 were counted in the cups. He obviously is trying to flip feeders and short others.

And nick, you do not know the whole story obviously because he did not do his best to correct it. If he had, he would not of shorted me, paid closer attention to detail on the address as that is very important, as would of sent them out Monday as promised yet came Wed and I had to confront him about getting my money back.
 
Sydney did you notify him of this thread so he could offer explanation? I would particularly like to hear why a week elapsed, it seems as if the tracking showed the wrong address he could have sent more the next day (or a refund).
I'd like to hear from those others as well, if there is a pattern of problems rather than an isolated incident, and a pattern of undercounts, that is something potential buyers would want to hear about.

He has since blocked me on FB so I have no way of contacting him as he would only PM me there. On Chameleon Central USA I made a post and you can see multiple people under there that had similar issues, some shorted MUCH more than me, others that took 2-3 weeks to be refunded, a couple I have spoken with personally and they are waiting until they get their refunds too (hopefully soon) before posting on here as they do not want to loose their money. I can totally understand this. I will not put their names on here without their consent but they have all been made aware I created this BOI.


I am only looking out for others. This was a huge inconvenience for me as we were planning a 4 day weekend and I needed that order of feeders so my house sitter was prepared. Instead I had to put out more money and order elsewhere. He promised to ship out Monday because I notified him immediately with pics about them being DOA. Came Tuesday I had no tracking number and was wondering what was going on. He promised Monday shipment for Tuesday arrival. I had at least 3 excuses given and then he just ignored me until Wed night when I finally asked for a tracking number and heard nothing. I then said please refund me after he gave me a tracking number that does not even exist.
 
These insects will eat each other if starved. That could certainly explain the low counts depending on how long they were delayed.



With how much food was in the silkie containers, I doubt they ate each other. Including with the fact as said numerous times I am not the first person he has done this too. I have posted this threads URL onto my post in Chameleon Central USA FB page so that the others that voiced can chat on here too. They were delayed by a day and a half in the Texas heat. The hornworms were not all accounted for. I should of gotten 90-115 total, I received 20, which were half dead. Picture of the silkie container the MOMENT I opened it is up above on this thread.
 
I also have had issue with Kamo Chameleons mine was over 3 weeks ago though and all I have is the FB messages. which do not even cover a quarter of it (plus he gave me a different name Jeff) and had sent me shipping information that was bad. He ignored me every way possible and only responded when I make a claim against my paypal and froze the funds (which he wanted me to drop before I got the chameleon) and threaten to make a BOI thread, we had an agreement which was a bit unorthodox but it is what he suggested so he could make room where he shipped after 1/2 of the payment was received (we had done this one other time with no issues) Here is the facebook messages that I have pertaining to the 2nd transaction that went horribly wrong and I did send him the full amount and still didnt receive the chameleon. Only after I posted on his wall and contacted the group admin did he respond and only after I froze all of the payments made to him pertaining to this transaction did he contact me. At which time this was after I was given tracking information that was a lie, he then texted me and told me if I had not been so impatient he had planned on offering me a different cham instead of the one I had purchased. He also blocked me after so I had no way to contact him, tho I have nor had any intention of doing business with him again.

I checked through teh newspaper more thoroughly and found a few silkies that had gotten through teh holes but no where near 300, I am sure bc they were so small they made their way out of the box all together. texas heat sucks.
