    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looks like my two adults Jamaican boas, Montego and Alexandria, are trying to produce a pile of little Jamaicans for me. They've been locked up almost constantly for the last few weeks, which will hopefully result in a litter sometime in September or October. I'm really excited to be working with such a rare and interesting species. If anyone in Pennsylvania would be interested in purchasing some of the neonates, please contact me and I can notify you when they are ready for new homes. Enjoy the pictures.

Thanks. They really are quite stunning in person. When these two finally pry the.selves apart, I'll try to get some better individual shots of them . I keep thinking they're done and its time to separate and then they start all over again.

Well, she just shed today, is spending a lot of time near her nesting box, and is looking especially lumpy. Here's hoping we might be getting some baby subflavus soon.

BABIES

Well, she spent the last 4 days staying almost exclusively in her lay box, and yesterday had a very watery defecation with only a little urates (possibly a pre-birth sign). Then this morning, I came downstairs to check on her and found that the cage was littered with little red critters. The current count (not sure if she's done) is 20 healthy babies, 2 stillbirths, and 5 slugs. Please enjoy the photos.

Goodjob Chris! Those are pretty nice!

Thanks. I'm really excited about this whole thing. This is my first successful breeding, and is at the end of several years of work.

Also, I finally got to cleaning out the birthing cage, and found 2 more healthy babies, 2 more stillborns, and 2 more slugs, bringing the total to:

24 healthy babies, 4 stillborn, and 7 slugs. Hopefully she is done birthing, because I am running short on space. haha.

Yeah 24 babies is alot! I cant waiy to be producing brazilian rainbow boas and carpets but between just 2 of thos females we could end up with 20-40 babies compared to about 10 from 2 ball pythons! Goodluck with everything.

Thanks. I literally had to shuffle a bunch of my other animals around just to make room. If she has one more baby, I'm going to have to keep it in a Tupperware bin. Haha.

On the plus side, they have been known to give birth to up to 46 babies, so I should be grateful that there aren't quite so many. It worked out quite well, and she managed to have exactly as many as I could handle. Plus, always grateful for healthy babies. Now to get them eating and hopefully figure out what to do with them all. Haha.

Well im sure there is some kind of a market for them and can be sold to lighten the load minus a few holdbacks :thumbsup:
