I first contacted Amanda Shawn of Ginger Exotics in regards to her boas. I chose a snake and paid for it in full, including shipping cost. *Since it was Friday, no shipping was possible until at least Monday July 28, 2014.
Satuday - Sunday July 26 & 27
Over the weekend, Amanda and I discussed the possibility of me purchasing additional boas at a discounted rate.
Monday - July 28, 2014
On this morning I reached out to Amanda to let her know that I may be adding more boas to my order. She agreed to send me pics for me to choose from. She sent scattered pics Monday and Tuesday, and mentioned taking additional pics after they shed. *At this point no ship date had been discussed.

While awaiting additional pics from Amanda, I reached out and let her know that I would not be adding additional boas to my purchase. She then asked if she could ship on Wednesday, 8/6/2014, because she already had another shipment lined up for that day and the FedEx hub was 45 miuntes away. I let her know that this was okay.

Amanda reached out to me in regards to my shipment. She said that she would not be able to ship on Wednesday, 8/6/2014, due to work. She then let me know that she would be shipping my boa on Monday, 8/11/2014, and we both agreed that was okay.
Wednesday - August 6, 2014
A friend reached out to me and let me know that Amanda was shipping a package. Excited, I went to go to her page to see if it was my boa and found I had been un-friended. I then saw the snpahot of the package being shipped, and it confirmed that she was at the FedEx hub that was 45 minutes away shipping out somebody else's snake while she was supposedly at work.
Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, I then message Amanda and asked if she was able to ship my snake. She said no, Moday 8/11/2014, was the soonest. At this point, already felt uneasy about her being decietful or misleading, I confronted her and let her know that I was aware of the shipment she made and that she had un-friended me. I also requested a refund. She said that she had her brother drive there to drop off the package, but could only trust him to drop off 1 package and not 2. She then also said she un-friended me because of my attitude when discussing shipping dates, which was a lie because I was never anything other than courteous. She now refuses to give me a refund until she sells the snake in question. I find this ridiculous considering the fact that she has about 20 other snakes to sell. Even if that weren't the case, it's still pretty rediculous. I've gone back and forth with her on this and that is all she is willing to do because she says that she had to hold the snake for me. Apparently this was an extremely huge favor.Technically she held it for 2 days , and that would depend on your definition of "held" because she received full payment on the first day I responded to her ad. Since she kept making such a big deal about how she had to hold the boa for me, feed it, and care for it, I offered to pay her her $16. Apparently that wasn't good enough. After this exchange, I do not wish to complete this transaction, nor do I wish to do business with Amanda Shawn from Ginger Exotics ever again.
I've had this typed up since earlier today. There are a few updates worth mentioning...
She was selling as jungle but it has been revealed throgh a social media site that there were no jungle genetics involved in the breeding. It was also revealed that the parents of the snakes are potentially stolen property. Apparently she's scammed many people that I've met on this popular social media site! She made a partial refund earlier, but refuses to pay the rest! Buyers Beware!!!
