    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

For those of you who are not familiar with Mindy's ways on FB, if she were to find a video like this from anyone else she would be blasting them wherever she could. I guess she is willing to bend her own rules if there is a chance of profit for her or Andy.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there seems to be a few things going on in this video. I'm not judging, its just that I find it entertaining how she seems to manage to overlook details when it involves her pocketbook.

This package was shipped through the USPS. I know this is frowned upon but I did not even realize it was an option. The box is a "Priority Mail" box (2-3 days) and not a "Priority Express" box (next day). One could be used as the other but it would be nice to know how it was actually shipped. This does not mean it was not delivered overnight as we do not of yet know the origin, or how the seller shipped it.

I see no marking on outside of box mentioning this is a live animal shipment. There is no info sheet with the content and shippers info inside the top flaps or on top of the Styrofoam packing. Nor does it appear there is any inside the box. I thought these were items required under the Lacey act. Of course these are things that are not in Mindy's control but I find it curious that I have not been able to find a single post of hers about "Jason" and this package. Maybe I'm wrong and these items are no big deal. She also states, when Andy tells her not to throw away the snake bags, that "you are not supposed to reuse them but she does" and laughs at this, again, not following her own beliefs but something she would surely take another to task for.

For the record, I see nothing wrong with reusing a bag if properly cleaned.

So you are saying Fed Ex shipped a USPS flat rate shipping box with no issue? Bull. They made me cover a small UPS symbol on a box one time otherwise they would not accept it for shipping.
 
Nvm last post, it was an insulated mailer. It had no stickers and the delivery person I handed it to said no problem. I misred a previous post my phones really wacky with this site.

I have received items from Fedex in USPS boxes before, and the boxes weren't modified to cover any symbols or markings. Never tried shipping anything that way myself, but I have seen that before.

I often have terrible luck, but that's a lot.

Given the rushed circumstances and lack of supplies, why wouldn't you hold off shipping the animals until you had the proper time, the proper insulated shipping box, bags/deli cups, and marker/labels to label the box as legally required? :shrug01:

You're somewhat right, the way Mindy conducts business is generally none of yours. You can't control her decisions, her errors in care and decisions, and her attitude. I do, however, wonder why you would sell animals to someone knowing they had a death due to suspected IBD and had not had any testing done to identify the cause nor determine the health of existing animals?

Same with the gravid sick boa she obtained as a "rescue", then started selling off the surviving babies (2 of which died after arriving to their new owners). Mindy likes to tout that she follows proper Quarantine procedures (even in her initial post about IBD) when her animal flipping, cohabitation, and transfer of store animals between home and work shows otherwise. Now her refusal to share any test results except with people who purchase from her (thus too late to back out of the transaction) just adds to the shady behavior and the list of reasons to run far, far away.

Given her attitude, and given that she played the 'poor' card saying she could not immediately afford tests while simultaneously selling snakes, owning and showing Arabian horses, I would be surprised if she actually gets any tests done.

First I had no idea she had any potentially sick animals. All the animals she purchased from me are fine and healthy. I had planned to do the shipment prior, although everything was going wrong that day. I also did not ship any animals to Mindy, they all went to Andrew's pet store. I had a second shipment and they were all nicely labeled and packed with deli cups and all that after that one. The animals contained in the bags prior are healthy. I would not have used them if they werent. I wasn't able to ship the remainder of the week, and it's been cold up here, so I wanted to get the package out, fearing early cold at the time. The legalities federally. I've recently received some from a few big name breeders with no markings. Mountains out of molehills, anything to discredit other breeders in this market I guess.

And as for my luck that day, if I had the time, or felt this worth more than me typing this out I'd post the packing slip info (which under notes it says "Live Harmless Reptiles - Python Regius"), and my insurance claim. It was just one of those days.

Who is trying to discredit you? Everyone here is just asking questions regarding an unusually packed shipment. :shrug01:
 
I think seeing a USPS box and assuming that it was sent by the post office legitimately sparks some questions. Due to the fact that it would be a federal offense and not just against company policy like with UPS for most (not all) shipping snakes.

Turns out the label was for FedEx and was shipped FedEx. The box was repurposed.

Technically, I guess your not suppose to use their boxes but I don't think it is a federal crime. Looks like it was insulated and arrived fine. I don't know if those boxes meet the stress tests of the shipping boxes I use and had to submit to FedEx to be certified.

I can't see anything close enough for labeling requirements to see what was typed on the label.

Sounds like you had a pretty bad day and on top of it she called you out in a video for sending the wrong sex on one of the snakes.
 
Nitpickers really, it's a 12x9x6 box same as you can buy on any shipping site. It's the shape of the box that makes them crushproof, and that's still only to a point. Just about all flat rate and reptile shipping boxes are made the same for this reason. I'm over this really I keep feeling like I have to explain myself and educate certain people and I'm just sick of going on about this. If I'm getting bashed for using some used shipping supplies you all have way too much free time. I don't really get off on being made to look like an ass. As far as the missex I didn't even watch the video. Did she sex it in the video? It was a butter that had unmistakable penes. One of two this year and the other is definitely a female. Would you take the word of a fourteen year keeper?

I didn't chide you for anything. Didn't talk about the labeling or state anything about used supplies. A casually mention that you used a usps box which caused the confusion that you actually shipped FedEx. No worries on that front.

Yes she did sex in the video and stated you made a mistake. I didn't take the word of anyone, I comment on what was posted in the video.
