In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Dealing with Captive Bred Excellence left a bad taste in my mouth...

I am so confused here...ok, first the op says the deal is a normal ball that she was to pick up from her best friend...then there are screenshots of a het pied pair, a mojave het albino pair, then now a mojave het pied pair. Also, now apparently the OP gave her friend money for gas and shipping instead of pick up?

and the issue that he altered a done deal, then tried to say he would have not done that except for the threats, and there were no threats????
I do agree that he could have let her have the pair for what she sent($125.00) but also wonder if she made a mistake sending $125.00 when the ad clearly said $175.00 ?

Ed, is this deliberate or are you not reading? You seem to want to intentionally move the focus from the issue.
Had the seller realized the error while the transaction was still pending he could have chosen not to honor the pricing error. It is well settled that mistakes in advertising (under most circumstances) do not bind the seller if the error is caught.
However, once the transaction is completed, it is completed.

She and I confirmed the price with him more than 6+ times. It's even in the paypal, i'm no longer replying to you because apparently you are not reading anything on this thread

Hi guys,

My name is Scott, and I'm Elisa's boyfriend. I'd like to clear up a little confusion.

We paid $125 for a 1.0 Mojave Het Pied & 0.1 Het Pied pair. We confirmed multiple times with the seller that these were the snakes we were buying and that the price was correct BEFOREHAND sending any money. He confirmed that he had received he proper amount of money BEFORE turning the snakes over to Sarah. He claimed the Mojave Het Pied male was supposed to be a holdback. It's already up for sale again.

The Bp's were not going to be shipped for a week if not more to make sure they were all good. Again, not retarded. We have the bp's best interest in mind. Thats why i'm so aggravated by this whole exchange. She would never steer me in the wrong direction and make sure that the snakes and any reptile is properly cared and treated.

They aren't my snakes, if anything were to happen to them, that would be money out of my pocket and a waste of time for her and myself. There is no logical reason why we would ship the snakes improperly.

The only transportation that happened was I drove up there, picked them up in a proper herp shipping box when them being in PROPER herper bags, and I drove home after picking up supplies so they would be comfortable until ready to be shipped.

Now i'm going to ask kindly keep yourself on track, the shipping isnt the problem. It's the person. What boggles me is that after all this, he put up the same snakes in an ad immediately after he got them back.

Actually, he posted them up for sale before he had even picked them up from you.

He also has not bothered to quarantine them since they were returned to him. As everyone knows, you should always quarantine any new additions, no matter where they come from. To not do so and then put them back up for sale is irresponsible.

The only thing it appears the buyer received back is the investment of the 125.00 buyer is still out fuel 3 hour drive w/e vegas minimum wage is, and the supplies purchased to accommodate said animals which from all the post is more than the sellers $50.00 dollar difference. The friend who made the drive is out her time, and the cost of the supplies purchased for the snakes.

So I am getting that the het pied pair was the initial inquiry and the final deal was apparently a mojave het pied pair...so where does this normal fit into the deal?

I think we have too many people answering questions here. I think most of us would like to hear more from the OP.

It was for a Mojave Het Pied & "Normal" Het Pied pair.
Ah, now I see, when she just said normal I assumed plain Jane normal.

ok, so Elissa inquires about a het pied pair, Tad says $125, Elissa asks about a mojave het pied pair, Elissa then pays him $125 for the mojave pair, her friend picks them up, Elissa sends her friend gas money and shipping funds, her friend sends her pics, wakes up to Tad telling her there was a mistake, she tells Elissa, Elissa returns the animals and has received a refund. Correct?

Elisa was originally meant to inquire bout the Mojave Het Pied & Het Pied pair. We already have a pair of proven Het Pieds. In addition, the "normal" Het Pieds were listed at $65, not $125. The Mojave Het Pied & Het Pied pair was listed at $125.

The male was a mojave, and the female was the normal referenced in that reply @emeraldboids.

I don't believe shipping was ever referenced by anyone other then yourself at that point when you called that particular issue into question?

Tiny Salmon mentions receiving shipping funds for them to be sent out to you, hence where my confusion arose.
