In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

During my breeding season I steadily put my Spinner male with my Pastave female(They locked.. A lot). Well, my other girls laid eggs and still, I was putting my spinner with my Pastave. I eventually gave up and stopped pairing them.

My last set of eggs hatched at the end of July. Still no signs of Pastave being gravid. Next year then, right?

Then I was doing routine cleaning and noticed lumping!! Like... wow...

4 eggs laid on August 30, 2014. Pow.

Fast forward, October 25, 2014, they hatched. Piddly Pow.

I *think* I have them labelled correctly, though I would like more opinions so I will keep my labels to myself. Two of them I am kinda iffy with but the other two I am pretty certain of.

With out further delay..... My clutch! (btw, sexed as 1.3)

Thanks. I checked them before work and none had even pipped. I came home and all 4 were out in a ball. I was surprised that they all came out so quickly and all in the same 10 hour time frame.

The second one is a jigsaw. Kingpin has lesser, not Mojave.

If you want help with identification, better pics are a huge plus. Something that shows color.

If you look in the not shadowed part (front right is shadowed) those are the colors. Almost exactly. I can get more pics when I get back home but I doubt they can show anything else. My first impression of the first snake was Spinnerblast. But it is so insanely clean. No "dirtying" around the spine at all.

I must be going color blind, then. There's spinner in the first one - I wouldn't guess beyond that without color. I'd probably say pastel, because I think a mojave spinner would have a darker head; but to say whether it has both would require a decent picture. There's mojave and pin in the second - maybe pastel, but, again, no color cues. I have to admit - I don't think there is a combo I like less - so I try to avoid looking at it...meaning I'm not well versed in the nuances. If that color is as accurate as you say, no pastel. Third is a blast, mainly because it has to be; and fourth is a pin because there's nothing else there.

I'll try to get you better pictures this afternoon. I may have something now?

......

These are all I have now. Just clutch pics and of the first one.

Those look like the pictures I get with my kindle...which is why I never take pics with my kindle. Different lighting might help.

Incandescent lighting & no flash makes sense for that look. (Kindle has no flash - which is why indoor pics look like that.) Use the flash, or natural white light - if you can get them outside (assuming reasonable temps) this afternoon, even better.

I do have this pic with flash (my first snap) which is why I turned flash off.

My opinion would be pastel, pin, spider for the one (I'm just not seeing the mojave)
For the other I'm still wavering whether there's pastel in it...I'm leaning toward yes, though.
Time will tell.

Here is the Spinnerblast placed against mommy (Pastave) and last half-sibling (same father) which happens to be a Spinner(and is opaque). This is out in daylight, though it is afternoon lighting.

Others will be in next post shown in same setup.

A little update: the Jigsaw that might have been pastel is most definitely pastel. I am going to try to get a good pic today/tomorrow but she turned so yellow after shed that there is no doubt in my mind. She glows now.
