I have seen lately is people trying to give you advise and you are still hostile towards them. Not everyone is trying to see you fail. Everyone is trying to get you to do the right thing for the animals. Being hostile is only going to make you look bad for potential customers.

As far as my physical care and husbandry goes.. they look fine to me!

If you'd really like to play that game. I see many BPs with no hides, and very few of them have water bowls large enough to fully submerge in. Some may be in enclosures less than 2/3 their body length, it's hard to tell with the provided pictures, but a few look pretty cramped.

Mindy. Honestly, this has been going on for 24hrs now of hot and heavy back and forth from everyone. I would suggest disconnecting from the computer/phone/facebook/fauna for a while and take a breather. Try to focus on other things for a while like family, friends, go to a movie, go the gym, go enjoy life.

It is easy to get caught in a cycle of frustration. Step away or you are going to burn up real quick.

Mindy, something you need to learn about selling reptiles, and life in general, is to handle things properly. Even if your tests come back negative, people are going to look back through this thread and see how you reacted. You explode and act crazy instead of being respectful and learning. I don't want to hear how no one was being respectful to you. Most people were. And even if they weren't, you need to learn how to deal with adversity. We all have people in our lives that we don't get along with and don't agree with. Most of us have had a boss that drove us crazy. But we sit and listen to what's said without arguments. We don't have to agree with everything, but we do need to handle the situations in the right way.

When I'm choosing someone to buy from, I always do searches here unless it's someone I already know. I read the threads, not just the titles. I will say that there have been people that I've refused to sell to or buy from just on their attitudes and how they handle bad situations. Animals can die, bad things can happen during shipping, things get over looked. It's how the seller/breeder comes back and handles things that make the difference. If they are polite and learn from their mistakes, they will make it in the hobby. But getting rude and defensive never helps anyone. I really hope you can take a step back and see the logic in some of these posts. No one here is looking for you to fail. The future of this hobby is based on the younger generation. We want to help you to succeed. But you have a lot of changing and growing up to do if you expect to be anyone of value in this hobby and life.

That's not a death threat. Saying he's going to choke you would be a threat. Saying he hopes your snakes choke you is not a threat. Learn the difference.

I talked to Andy today and his store is getting dragged too far into this. Yes he did text Jen which he has admitted he was wrong and let his frustrations out. I do not condone this. He has apologized for his actions. I talked to him for over a hour and he is new to snakes and Mindy. He only consigned snakes for her for 8 weeks. He has a good plan for his store which brings interaction and education to people. He doesn't want a store like a lot of them are. Smelly and don't care about animals. He not doing this for money but for a passion of animals, which I do give him credit on. He is concerned for the animals that is brought into his store and he has halted sales on snakes and he is getting snakes tested out of his own pocket. He has a quarantine room that he will pull snakes out that shows any signs of sickness or any snakes that do not eat or are shedding bad. As I am the one who talked to him, I feel he is sincere on what he has said. He doesn't do Facebook or internet groups and that is why he has not said anything. I know he been in contact with the admins to this group cause his information is here.

Mindy on the other hand needs to realize that she needs to be able to handle negativity better and that you will never please everyone. This has gone on for too long cause of that. I do not deny that she has passion for her snakes and I do believe she wants to do the right thing. Her ego is getting her in trouble and in my opinion needs to change cause that is what going to harm her. Not past mistakes.

Mindy, I currently don't have reptiles. However my husband and I have discussed me getting back in to reptiles, with a few BP's. I used to have boas, but my husband is not a snake person, so we compromised on the calm, gentleness and size of the BP. I mention this only because this makes me a potential, possible customer. You should be listening to the ones like me, we are the ones that come to the BOI to look at your name. You sell BP's, I'm looking to buy a few BP's... however even with out the IBD scare and refusal of testing I would not buy from you, on your explosive, childlike responses. No I'm not attacking you, no I'm not bullying you, and no I am not stalking you. As a possible buyer, I would be worried that if there could be any problems you would blow up on me, and I would be out a snake and/or my money.

EXAMPLE (completely fictional and made up)
Say I bought a snake from you, everything goes smoothly, you communicate with me fine, very professional with responding to my questions, and keeping me informed on my snake, etc etc etc. Then my snake arrives on my doorstep, I'm so excited!!! Woohoo, my snakes is here, I can't wait to see my new breedable albino female BP! Yes I been waiting for this snake for years, finally saved up the money, and now he is here! I open the box and I find an albino female neonate. Hmmmm not what I ordered, I better let Mindy know.
Hey Mindy I just got the snake and a he is beautiful, however it's a neonate and the breeder I paid for. I understand your busy, but I was wondering how we can fix this. Choosing not to 'do' is his choice to make, it is also my choice to feel that if he avoids the responsibility of first hand disclosure in writing here, he could well choose to avoid other responsibility.

There are numerous books and companies which guide businesses through disasters (and in my opinion, meeting Mindy and her ensuing issues about diseased snakes was a disaster) and most of them recommend going to the affected group immediately, being transparent and forthcoming with information.

In my opinion he should have put his customers needs and his reputation above any decision not to 'do' the internet because his decision is what caused his problems. He has now become associated with Mindy and that is not solely her fault, had he come here openly and directly, I think he would be way ahead of where he is now.

There is NEVER a reason to talk to someone in that manner, it came off as threatening and deranged. He can be as apologetic and as sweet as he wants now after the fact, but many of us were apprehensive for the safety of Jen, and not only was it a frightening lapse of behavior, that sort of breach of behavior is such that the possibility of a repeat is enough to avoid the person completely.

This is why I stay away from this site usually. People do make mistakes and while I do not condone or say he was right at what he was doing. But I also see his side of things. Here he is getting his business bashed cause he is selling Mindys snakes. That all it has been. We might as well bash her family cause they gave birth to her. Shaun, we've said the same thing. I specifically said it was his choice to make; he chose not to come here and be transparent. We all have consequences for all of our choices in life.
He also bears the consequences of his texts, if the threatening texts to Jen were his, each reader here will decide for themselves how they feel about those threatening words.
