    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

couple pics of some holdbacks, any thoughts?

So i always like to see pics of other peoples hold backs or just pics of beautiful snakes everyone is producing. The two larger are male & female 100% het albino bananas. Has anyone seen an albino banana yet? Not sure whats goin on with the lil guy. Came from a banana to lesser breeding but he isnt a lesser banana. Any ideas feel free to comment. Thanks, chris

Beautiful snakes Chris. The one from the Lesser x Banana is interesting. At first glance he looks like a scaleless pink hotdog morph, skin folds and all. So what do you think it is?

Thanks Robert! The one is quite interesting. I have no idea what happened here. He was the only survivor from his clutch of 4. Unfortunetly his clutch dried out towards the end & i didnt catch it in time so no others made it. Was kicking myself in the but for that one believe me!! At first we thought he was a ban lesser but i knew they didnt look like that. I dont know if something jus went wacky in the egg or kinda drien out changed something. He had a slow start also but now hes destroying rat pinks. Cant wait till he sheds out a few more times to really see his colors. He is very soft & wrinkley like you said with the folds. They all have the same father as well. We got lucky with the female cause we only hatched out 6 tot bananas this yr. I heard garrick from royal hatched like 38 & hit 1 fem.:D I will post again after he grows a lil.

That would be great to see pictures later down the road. I know incubation variations can play games with color outcomes, but that is pretty extreme in my opinion if that is the case.

Good score on your female. If those stats are correct 1 female in 38 bananas, females are very welcome surprise.

Beautiful babies!
My vote is that the wee one is a Banana who has not developed (or fully developed) its color/s yet. Wouldn't be surprised if the color/s come in after a "shed or two".

Thanks Deb! I had thought that as well, but even out of the egg his colors were so much more softer then the others. His spots are just starting to come in. He was a tiny baby, but hatched days apart from the others in the photo.

A lack of proper color can occur in preemies (color coming in, later, after hatch).
However, it can occur in non-preemies (for time/hatch) as well. Where, for whatever reason, chromatophores (&/or other development) are slowed/delayed.
Have seen it before. As just one example, I have seen Amel Cornsnake babies hatching out very pale, or even "Snow like", but the colors come in, later (after hatch), and those young'uns end up looking as they should (for an Amel).
