First question. So based on Scott's statements, who actually placed the snakes in his hands?

First Scott says "I got them from a buddy". Then later in the conversation he tells you, Sam, "I got them from a guy named Anthony. He says he has paperwork on them".

Then he says,"Anthony was a third party". Yeah, I get the Mike Cogar connection relative to this fiasco. Finally Scott says, "I told my buddy to contact Anthony Papas so this gets resolved"

Then there is a threatening email from Hekate Doe / Hekateshield@(wherever)?

He Kate Doe and He Kate Shield?

Not saying Scott F. is the bad guy here; I'm only trying to make sense of this stuff. Who did Scott actually acquire the bloods from?

Fact: The scammer is from Elizabethtown, PA.
Fact: Scott Fitzwater is from Elizabethtown, PA.
Fact: Scott Fitzwater had the stolen snakes.
Fact: Scott says he hasn't been on Fauna in years, this is not true.

As much as Sam might like to help here, he would make a horrible detective. He basically guided the text conversation with Scott. 90% of what Sam thinks he knows is regurgitated 2nd hand information without any evidence presented so far.

So again, who is the unnamed "buddy", the "guy I got them from".

Aside from Scott telling you so, were you provided anything tangible that would absolutely back up what Scott said? Did he forward you any of the conversations? Did he elaborate on how the trade went down? Was it done in person? Did he say that he'd had any previous business relationship with whoever supposedly traded him your bloods?

Scott has been aware for several days this thread exists, according to the PM's posted. If he was concerned and wished to come here and clear his involvement, he might have already done so and clarified some of the inconsistencies of his statements. He needs no formal invitation, IMWO.

Again, not automatically sentencing the guy, but he is a member and knows the thread is here.

I think that may be in his best interests. Considering it's only been about 3-1/2 months since he's last logged in on the account that bears his real name - not "years", like he'd claimed - I'm sure he remembers his log-in info...unless he has so many of them that he's lost track?

Sam, I have to admit a bit of trickeration in our correspondence. My sole interest is in seeing every little shred in info being put out on display. It's when everything is laid out on the table, that we can dissect it all and try to bring the big picture into focus. At this point, I'm not sure that Scott is nearly as innocent as you believe him to be. If he is, he should choose to come here and be as transparent as possible.

No one is claiming what you have posted is "wrong", just that the statements by Scott Fitzwater to you in the texts you posted don't add up. I'm happy you received a refund.

Now just have to expose who the real bad guy here is.

The reciept Sam got when he picked the money up should have some kind of tracking number which can be given to a customer service rep if someone calls and asks where Kate or whoever bought it and they should be able to tell you where the money was sent from. I'm not sure what else they will tell you about the transaction but it should at least tell where Kate sent the money from! I put in Kates known phone number 732-768-6525 and was able to find the transaction but the Web site doesn't give much information as you can see.

Sam, I honestly don't want this thread to get side tracked, so I will answer your question, and then not bring it up again. I personally asked you to come here and clarify things previously, you would not.

I have been so busy with school, work, and other things I haven't really had the chance to clear things up.

You and I have PMd and I have watched you viewing forums and classifieds in the same time you were "so busy". Only once Scott's name got brought up were you willing to come post again. I participate here for the benefit of the entire community, for Rick, for other victims, even for you. You not coming here earlier is a disappointment.

I believe Kate Ellis is a misdirection. If there is an ID that exists for Kate Ellis, it too is probably expired/fake/stolen.

There is another fact to add to the list:
Fact = There is a female involved in this. The female has spoken to the victim(s) by phone before.

Yes I have read them but I dont have time to sit behind a computer screen all day to keep going back and forth. I posted proof I got a refund, and proof that Scott is innocent. I was the one directly involved, so why wouldn't I know the most info? I don't feel like your here to help me anymore. It seems more like you're here to help yourself. Why not just directly call Scott or Mike? Their phone number are on here.
