• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Opinions differ on when to safely ship, I posted temps so all could get a good idea. If the seller is delaying because she does not feel comfortable shipping, that is not bad.
You do not seem to be approaching the Paypal deadline yeat, but you could ask (or file) for a refund.
I think that the communications with you are more pertinent to whether she is a good guy or bad guy. If she is putting critter safety first that is one thing, if she is stringing you along that is another.

This is what my post and warning is about.
Scammer wants you to believe that its all about the stately of the critter, This is the clever marked up Fraudulent psots/ seller/ As am warning you folks about.

OP how long ago did you pay her? Post a screenshot of the PayPal receipt.

File a claim through Paypal ASAP. None of the details really matter at this point. If she is refusing to communicate get your money back and make it her problem. As Lucille said, a seller choosing to delay shipping because of weather is a good thing. However, the facts that she has another Paypal dispute and is refusing to communicate are major red flags and I don't give strangers the benefit of doubt.
You have 45 days to file a Paypal dispute...do it tonight!

Yes i know her profile but will that bring my money back ?

Why are you snapping at people who are trying to help?

As cold as it has been, she may be delaying because of safety. There still isn't enough info to say why she is doing this. If you talked to your seller the same way you just answered Melissa, maybe she doesn't want to deal with you.
It's been suggested a couple times that you go ahead and open a Paypal dispute, have you done so?

I sincerely do not believe this is a case of cold temps for not shipping. I also purchased a het witblits form this gal and communication is next to nothing, as well as no pictures which i asked(from visual offspring). There is something fishy here.

I am not snapping at any one :D

Ah as for paypal closed the case " The claim was incomplete, filed incorrectly, or outside the bounds of coverage as defined in our User Agreement."

Hey Pat, could you share your experience here, too?

I know for me, I tell anyone contacting me about geckos this time of the year that I won't ship until it's above freezing at night. OP, did she tell you anything about what temps she feels safe shipping at? Is it in her TOS?

If you included in your claim that you were supposed to receive a live animal then yes, PP would deny it since there is no buyer protection for animals.

If you stated that you sent payment and the seller never shipped then that is covered. So, how did you word your claim?

Also, you have not even answered basic questions like when you sent the payment(s).

It was posted so her name would come up in a search.

Really? The wording and shortness of the reply, inferred you were snapping. Being rude to people trying to help, does not help you, nor does not providing answers to questions.

Your response to Snake-Queen was unwarranted. She was helping to complete a package of overall information.

If you simply said you bought a product and it was neither shipped nor delivered (within the period of coverage), then you would have likely won.

When people here ask you a question or request that you add more information, answer them or oblige them if you actually want assistance to be a potential result.

Did you send it as a gift or something?
You're not providing much info, it's hard to help or give advice.

Can we be any more vague with information that's being asked?

It all seems like something is off, with both the person in question and the OP...
