    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Posting all information you have for her is recommended. Many scammers have been caught by their phone numbers being posted in multiple forums.

I understand you are trying to warn people, but by withholding information it is hard, scanners typically change user names and locations … rarely their phone number.

Sharing Phone numbers, is something i dont feel comfortable with but maybe you are right .

By the way i noticed there is a post on her wall, asking why this user is not banned on the forum. Thank you for re-highlighting her profile page

That makes no sense. Since you backed up the payment on PP with your credit card, you can dispute it with your credit card since the seller never shipped. Your credit card company won't care about PP's TOS on live animals, they'll just do the chargeback.

Shipping in below freezing is not in the best interest for the animal. Even SYR has it right on the site to not ship below 38. Some people do it with no problems, but why risk the animal> My one DOA was a gecko that was lost in the system for 3 days in below freezing temps. Never will I risk it again. It's not an excuse. I would prefer to ship year round.


OP, try calling your credit card like recommended. They should take care of you.
 
banana 100% het clown!

I also purchased an animal right before Christmas( banana 100% het clown from Jessica Paige Gardiner), and in my case she has openly through personal conversation agreed to refund my payment in full by midweek. I am giving her the benifit of the doubt, although excuses were made as to why my snake never shipped, and with the weather the way it has been on the east coast the last 10 days or so, I fully believed she was simply worried about the reptiles well-being. It wasn't until another member on fauna with very similar issues with the same seller mentioned his story that I became even more skeptical. I'll update everyone on the progress of this transaction, but I'm hopeful she comes through and sets things straight, otherwise I will aslo be moving forward with a paypal dispute. Thanks so much for your time in advance, Richard!
 
My understanding so far, 3 people without their animals and communication has basically gone silent, not willing to refund, correct?

1. Hratch - "lizard" (no pictures)
2. Pat - Het Witblits Bearded Dragon (no pictures)
3. Richard - Banana 100% het. Clown Ball Python (pictures?)

Does this look right so far?
 
Yes Robert, you are correct for the most part regarding my transaction with Jessica paige Gardiner and the Banana het clown female ball python that I have yet to receive. She actually did provide pictures in my case though, and I was pleased with what I saw. She has also been communicating with me directly, although are last communication was around noon on Sunday, January 11th, 2015. It was during that conversation that she told me directly that she would refund my payment no later than midweek or this Wendesday, January 14th. I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt and hold her to her "word", but with other individuals here on Fauna having issues as well with the same seller I have my doubts and concerns. The direct conversation also eluded to more excuses as to why she has yet to ship out my reptile, so more red flags about a scam have me worried as well that this was all a hoax. I will update my situation accordingly by the end of business tomorrow with any further news. Thanks so much for your time, Richard!

Thanks for the heads up Richard. Is this the ad you responded to and the banana het. clown you believe you have bought? Do you have the ability to post the banana picture that she sent you?

I inquired about the beardies as well. She only had two, male and female listed. The female was already sold several weeks ago. Of course, I stopped (deleted) our correspondence once it seemed a bit odd. My thoughts are Hratch and Pat are buying the same dragon.

Hratch talk to your credit card company, you can get your money back.
 
Richard - First, I want the best outcome for all three of you. A couple of personal thoughts on your purchase specifically. As far as reputation/longevity/karma/trader rating/BOI/etc. Jessica is basically an unknown on Fauna, in some cases worse, since several users think she was previously banned.

When dealing with an "unknown", you take the risk in deciding what is the likelihood that 1. the animal is described accurately and 2. you are going to actually receive it. Individuals gamble on the "probability" that all is going to go well.

So you in your case, what is the probability that...
1. Her ad lists 12 eggs, but 13 babies in the outcome
2. Her ad lists 4 bananas and 3 normals VS 4 bananas het. clown and 3 het. clowns
3. Jessica is in possession of a Banana Het. Clown Dam that was arguably a $10k+ snake at time of purchase two seasons ago.

What is the probability that the person is going to supply you with the described animal? Possible? Probable?

Hello again, unfortunately as much as I would like to attatch the pictures she sent me via cell phone here to fauna, I no longer have them available. I'm mad at myself I didn't save them, and that's a mistake on my part. The ad for the female banana het clown that has been posted in this forum was the exact ad that this transaction is all about. Almost all of our conversation has been through direct contact though, and I was pleased with the pics at the time she sent them (December 22nd ish), although obviously now looking back I should have been more cautious. I'm hoping for the best at this point that she does issue the refund, but I'll proceed with necessary action if she doesn't follow through by tomorrow end of business. Thanks so much for your help and time in this matter
 
Well, looking at the fine details now of that particular ad for the banana het clown female you can certainly see several red flags and as you mentioned the probability of her being in possession of a female dam banana clown of that caliber is "highly" unlikely. I do remember talking to her directly regarding this clutch that she had posted, but obviously I failed to connect the fine details. Thanks again and I appreciate your detailed information regarding this user and her profile.
 
Hello, Richard Kimmel providing a quick update for everyone following the issues involving Jessica Paige Gardiner. Despite direct contact and her "word" regarding my refund on the banana het clown female that has yet to be shipped, I received a partial refund according to Paypal on January 12th, 2015. However, the latest from Paypal as of Thursday, January 15th is that the refund issued in the form of an echeck has been declined due to insufficient funds in her account. Obviously her word meant nothing and it appears that this was nothing more than a stall tactic. I will escalate this to a DISPUTE now through paypal and provide future updates as soon as they become available. Thanks again for everyone's support and advice through this process, it is greatly appreciated, Rich!
