In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I made transaction arrangements for four blue pacman frogs, I asked for a discount for the four frogs- from 40 I ended up paying 32.50 each plus 50.00 which was listed as 40$ shipping as well on the add. I don't want to argue with anyone- I can care less about the money or getting new frogs- this is about principle. I also want to know if I am color blind.
Please tell me honestly did I get a green frog or a blue frog- I included picture of what I got, picture of two adds he posted- the teal blue frog add was removed when I made a complaint.
Thanks Eduardo Luxardo

The "blue" colored pacman frog is a result of a vitamin deficiency......as babies they are fed eel food and they turn blue. Once you start feeding it a normal diet they will all lose the blue coloration because it is not genetic.....sorry that you were mislead.

these are not the "blues" people are thinking of that require a special diet to keep the color. These are mike Matson's line, that increase the teal with age. There was no misleading here as to what the morphs was, the words Samurai Blue was never used, as stated in ad these are teals. I can post a pic of the adults in a bit, so you can see what these will look like as adults

What did the text in the first ad say? Why did you cut the text off of that one and not the other? Can you please post a pic of the whole ad?

1st ad

That is a picture I shared with my family and a friend for them to view the frog- I didn't want them to see the price because it was a gift.
I don't have the original and the ad was deleted.
The ad also said the same as Aqua marine but that they were teal and shipping was 40$ And the frogs themselves for 40$
I tell you this morning Pat sent me several emails to make this right- but since I don't want money or want new frogs from him- we were at a stand still. I don't want anything from him because I don't want to deal with him anymore. I will still post one last picture of all four frogs tonight- and you can judge for yourself for your own knowledge what is considered a teal blue pacman frog.

The frogs he sent are as described above in my picture-bland aqua marine.
The frogs I got are healthy, active and happy- but they are just wrong color in my opinion based on what was described in the ad and what I recieved.

This is what I asked of him for my satisfaction- he has a nice YouTube channel with nice informative videos- I asked him to make a YouTube video in the near future- not to apologize to me- but to make a nice video of pac man frogs and their morphs- specifically showing what teal blue frogs are, who mike matson is and what to expect from teal blue frogs- to show them on video as young and old.
Whether he does this or not is on him- not obligated.

This post is to justify by poll, by majority- for you to tell me if the frog I have is green or Blue- obviously pat voted and he thinks what's in the picture is blue and stands by his animal. I seem to disagree and would just like your opinion on the matter- Thats it- I already told him that this case is closed- I already said its not about money. This is a simple discussion on a point of view- mine differs from his. I wish I would have gotten awesome blue pac mans- but from what I read it might very well be a myth and what I was searching for doesn't actually exist in a vibrant blue color- and that what I have is considered blue because of the limitations of pac man genetics- maybe like saying a blue crested geckos.
Maybe if it would have been to said in the add Teal green instead of teal blue and I wouldn't have gotten so excited and then so upset.

Thanks Guys, I'm not looking for pity or for a fight- I'm just curious to know what you think the color is-

I think the original ad is critical here.

These are mike Matson's line, that increase the teal with age.

I am no expert on pac colors. If it is true that these critters will be more teal colored as they get older, and if the buyer was sold these particular kind of critters, and if either the ad stated the future color change expectations or stated the name of the particular like 'Matson' then the present coloration, if it is due to change, should not necessarily be a cause for dissatisfaction.

If the buyer got a plain green pac that was sold as a teal that would color up, and it never changes, that is a whole different story.

I cannot say that the frog, you received, is a "blue" frog because it is predominantly green. Cannot say it is green, either, because it does appear to have a slight bluish tint to it.

Guys, I understtand what happened- this is bigger than Pat- Pat Kline I apologize for everything- you did not invent or coin the name blue or samurai blue or teal blue. What this is- this is a marketing ploy- just a name- a gimmick to sell frogs.if I bought two "purple passion pacman" (I made that name up) and I bred them I would sell the babies as purple passions- even if they were actually brownish red because that's the name of the morph. I llooked on mike matson web site- he had only samurai blue for sale and he only works with samurai blue...they are all actually green and he had in his notes that they vary in color from green to seafoam green lol. Whatever maybe one one 1000 is light blue teal l- maybe some are fed something to be blue- they are all green to me. That's it.

They are not fed something and it's not a vitamin deficiency. It is genetic. It varies in intensity and expression. Lots of misinformation out there about blue pacmans. A samurai pacman is a brand name not a color, a samurai blue is blue a samurai super blue is super blue. A samurai green is green. There are many reasons why there is so much bad info being spread. Some is ignorance and some is more sinister in motive. Too much for me to get into right now.

Breeder male teal blue on right, father to these babies. Owned by Mike matson and used with his permission

Ok

My friend like I said- it's a marketing ploy- those are physically green frogs with a name attached to them that says blue. That's it

I got my info from ordering 25 blues......all came in bright blue and then faded into varying shades of green over the following 3 months. :ack2:

Got some proof?

If you want a blue pacman you need to pay the blue pacmans price babies are 400$ and up. People have mislabeled samurai pacmans and misled folks into thinking they are something they aren't. If you aren't spending 400 minimum you probably won't get a blue adult.
