In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok that thing is a beast. What kinda horsepower does it have? Do you ever take it to the strip? Mine is a daily driver so I won't be going too extreme performance-wise, but i will be making my own cat back exhaust and running my intake tube down towards the opening in my body kit.

I don't really know. Back when I had the stock 346 cube LS6 with smaller twin turbos at 6psi of boost it was putting down around 533 rwhp. Now with the custom 427, larger turbos and wastegate springs pushing the boost to 11.6 psi, I would guess there has been a healthy increase.

One of these days maybe I'll see if I can find someone around here with a dyno to see what it logs.

You likely won't have to go real radical to get some substantial performance increases. Simply improving incoming air and outgoing exhaust can help quite a bit. Plus tuning to optimize air/fuel and timing will possibly help some.

Just be careful running the air intake down lower since you are using the car as a daily driver. Which means you'll be driving it in all sorts of weather. Been more than a few people who learned the hard way about the dangers of hydrolocking the engine when they hit a puddle on the road that was deeper than they expected. If you suck water into the intake, you can pretty much kiss the engine goodbye.

I was actually trying to figure out a way to keep the water out without impeding airflow. I'm going to open up my exhaust from 1 1/4" to 2" and hope it doesn't sound like a pi$$ed of leaf blower.

Here are a couple I put together over the years. Unfortunately I have sold them off . The first is a 85 Camaro I built for my Daughter.

Then there was this beast. My 78 Nova 468 with a 177 B&M supercharger and a 150 shot of spray. Best time of 6.24 @116 then kicked off the track for no cage.

Okay one more my newest project. it will be years until this one gets done though. It has been off the road since 1972. My dad bought it in 1982 and it has set ever since. bringing it to my house to go in the shop this week.

Old thread but I love this sort of thing and I was sort of distracted back when it started.

How about a truck?

Here's my 2008 F450 dually. I've added a Tuner, MBRP exhaust, exhaust brake, and that big ol' Warn stainless bumper with a 12,000 pound winch and LED lights. Only 30,000 miles on it.

She's currently back in the shop for new turbos, an ATS trans, new LED lights all around and a ton of other upgrades. Looking for a nice fat 700HP, straight fuel only. Also have a custom Tiara rack from Highway on order.

She'll get her first competition run on the dyno in a couple months, and I'll be doing some sled pulls too.

I'm not really a car person but this is my husband's baby, a 2011 Subaru STI. It replaced his 2005 model of the same car, it's even the same color as his last one.

Any mods to the Subaru? We might be getting another car so the corolla is going to get stripped down and built up how I want it. I'm trying to separate my car from the ricers around here.

Wow Rich that list is way longer than even my wildest plans. I think I'm going to start by taking as much weight out as possible and a little more tuning.

Recently got myself a horse ...

Helloooooo midlife crisis!
