    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I actually used my good camera to take the pictures of the hatchlings this year. Unfortunately, half way through the hatchlings, I realized I did not clean them up-so they are riding dirty this time around. They range from $150-$250 plus shipping, each is individually priced under the pictures on photobucket. If you get two or more, I'll pay for shipping. These are all over a month old and range from orange to red and all the colors in between.

Here is the photo bucket page:

Here are some pics of some of the available the hatchlings:

cherryhead hatchlings

Hello Allegra,
I am a breeder also. These are the nicest brazilians I have seen in years. Do you know if the parents are phenotypes as well as genotypes which is obvious. Would you mind sharing some pics of the adults?

Thanks for the compliments. Too many big words for my simple mind! Ha! So far what I have observed, the girls seem to influence the amount of color and the boys influence the color itself in the hatchlings. For example, my orange girl, Rambtan throws mostly orange babies. When she was with an orange male-solid orange babies. Now that I have all red (red-ish) males her babies start orange and change colors as they mature to coral-ish to red. And a smaller percentage stays orange. The red girls when I had the orange male still threw red babies. Here are some pics I posted on another forum. Not sure if that is allowed but it is the easiest way:

Allegra, thank you for your time and great pics of your adults.that answers my question . The quality of the hatchlings color IS directly related to the parents coloring not genes. Problem now is NO ONE but you has great looking adults breeding. Or at least they are hiding them.

Cherry heads

I am interested in a few. Is there a phone # I can reach you at?
Thanks,
Jason

Thanks for the compliments! I'm sure there are many other keepers with great cherries that just keep a low profile.
