Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Jeez, now I don't feel bad for even posting the thread. He sends me a sick gecko with parasites and an infected cut, then sends me two replacements, one with a regenerated tail and parasites (who shakes when she see's me, absolutely terrified, poor girl) and one with another infected cut on his back (that is healing nicely).

Good luck Kelli. I don't think he's going to go through with it. He doesn't know what door he just opened up. Lol.
 
I wish I could clap on here.. seriously Kelli ... you are AWESOME... he doesn't know who he is dealing with. Thank YOU for protecting US. And Allee everything happens for a reason I hope that this thread helps other people. I know the geckos are in great hands now.

Not trying to stir the pot here but many innocent businesses have been bankrupted defending frivolous lawsuits......coming from a family of lawyers I know 1st hand the nightmares they can cause.

This is not slander because every bit of information in this thread about Matt Shrimplin is true. I would have thought that someone who was already in the hot seat for selling an unhealthy animal would have given a second thought to sending out yet another injured animal and pulling the exact same, "I didn't notice until I was packing the animal up for shipping..." thing that he had prior. That only serves to furthur reinforce the facts. Matt was afforded the opportunity to make things right in this situation before being banned from Kelli's site and he chose to send the animals he did. He hasn't got a leg to stand on in court. Matt should really just quit while he is ahead if he is serious about taking legal action. In this case Matt would do better as the laywer for his own opposition.

Its not slander because the information is true or untrue, that really has no bearing. Its not slander because it wasn't spoken, as in an oral utterance.

It was written and therefore its called libel, a libelous comment or statement that has been published and circulated by media and/or posted on the internet.

And it would really be up to a court to decide if such information was true or not, and whether such information should be considered as libelous and defamatory.

OMG one of the replacements he sent you has parasites as well? well atleast we know where the source of the parasites are from, i am glad you made me aware of this as well as i was about to get a few from him as you well know, to finish up for my dreamsicle projects next year, i'd rather sac the project and not be able to produce them then get unhealthy animals.

Cleatus, the original male sent, is finally showing signs of improvement. He's holding down his meds now, and eat 2-3 crickets tong fed, a night. And is finally giving me semi-solid poo.

The replacement male, his cut is healed, but now there's a 1cmx1cm scar on his back that should slowly go away with time.

Replacement girl, parasites are almost gone with her. She's finally eating for me as well as gained 8g since I got her.

I would also like to add some red flags.
Wanted to pay with money orders.
Told him I only take paypal. Said he'd have a friend send me money and give his friend cash.
Was trying to buy young females making sure they weren't bred this year which makes me think he could potentially trying to breed really young females.
 
Wanting to pay with a money order is a red flag? Why, because you didn't want to wait? USPS money orders are a perfectly acceptable payment method.

I don't know anything about this person's recent activities; and you are well within your rights to not do business with anybody, for whatever reasons you deem appropriate...but I think you may be stretching for those red flags. The PayPal from another person is a legitimate concern...but that was only after you made PayPal the only option. Seems more like he was trying to accommodate you.
Was there something else that told you to steer clear?

I guess your right. It was more of a "I can't record the payments." But I realized receipts are a thing.
The BOI board made me want to not sell to him
