    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Jim.... could we agree to continue our discussion without the sarcasm? It's really not conducive to an intelligent conversation. I am a fourth grade teacher and I find your child molester in a classroom comment extremely disturbing, as I have students who have been sexually assulted, and it is nothing to joke about. A person with an upstanding moral character does not make reference to child molesters in a kindergarten classroom, and certainly does not compare putting a moderator in charge of a Facebook group to a molester in a classroom.

Again, your facts are inaccurate. When Nichols was a fill-in moderator, CGW was a few months new, and had 250 members at most, so they did NOT have 1200 members to choose from at the time. CGW just hit its one year mark this month. It is growing rapidly, and adjustments are being made as necessary to accommodate the growth.

As proof was provided earlier in a screen shot, Chrissy Lynn addressed said issue in April and there have not been repeat offences. As with most groups, people are given warnings and are given a chance to correct their behavior.

Your continued attempts to drag the group down as a whole are for what? Again I ask, what is your objective?

CGW was invited to come here to represent itself, but I will not engage in conversation that is one-sided and full of hatred. I am sickened and extremely offended by the child molester comment, and it makes me think that you may not be capable of having a civil conversation.

To the mods, is acceptable behavior for Jim to compare a mod to a child molester in a classroom? Or to joke about a molester in a clasroom for any reason?

Note - I am not wearing my moderator at this moment, so this is my personal reply: Considering a statement to be in poor taste does not necessarily mean it is a violation of the rules.

How long have you been a moderator/admin on that page? You seem to have an awful lot of details about that situation - is that because you were actually privy to it at the time? If not, when was this information given to you - you don't have to be too specific, Before or After you started participating in this thread would be sufficient.

Sorry, I should have addressed my question to the mods in a PM.

Robert Rose just made me an admin last night, because he knows that I am familiar with most things that have gone on on CGW, and he recognizes that with the fast growth of the group, more moderation is necessary. I have been a member since day one, and I have been active through all of it. I saw it all go down, from the comments by Nichols, all the way through Chrissy Lynn requesting that he change the tone of the comments, which he has done.
 
So you know, based on specific things that you have seen, that Mr Nichols was only a moderator for that brief period that you described? Was there a posting that notified members of this information when it happened? (Just trying to understand how you have such a clear knowledge of when it happened, for exactly how long, etc)

I remember it because Robert and Chrissy were out of the country and needed someone to take care of it as they had limited to no access, I believe hey were in Costa Rica. I can look to see if there is any visual evidence that I can provide, I am not sure if facebook provides a log of those activities or not. I'll see what I can find for you.

You could try searching keywords through the search function of the group. Something like 'vacation' or 'Costa Rica' might pull the results up you're looking for. You can find the Search function on the right side of the screen above the members/add members list.
 
So you specifically remember that they went on vacation in August of 2014? That's pretty impressive. I'll accept it, though...and I'll accept that you "know" that Robert had no moderation capabilities prior to that. (I have no reason to doubt it). But I don't understand how you can be so certain that he was removed as a moderator after just two weeks. Was there circumstances that resulted in a public statement, or was it somehow obvious? Or was that a best guess based on the amount of time the admins were away? Please understand that I have never seen the page about which you are speaking, and I choose not to participate in ANY such groups on facebook; so I have absolutely no idea how they are set up, what people see, etc.

The members can "Be so certain" that is was only 2 weeks, because they Specified this before they left.
The Entire Group was made aware Publicly, apon their return he would be relieved of his duty.
In CGW we speak English and can Read.
In which case, if you would like to be More specific, it was 12days. Not Even 2 weeks.

You can view posts as far back as when the page was created. In which case, you should understand Last year, is Not that Far back.
You are free to look for yourselves but you Choose to take people's words for it. Therefore, you can really only blame yourselves for the confusion.

I own an IPhone and what you are saying does not ring true.
If I click the attach image file, it does Nothing. Can't attach a pic, copy&paste a pic. Nothing. Not limited to four pics. Not even ONE pic. Otherwise the proof would have been here by page 5.

It's a closed group so someone not in the group can not look for themselves!
 
What happens on facebook can stay on facebook. I have no interest in chameleons, or your group - my only real interest in this thread is preventing it from becoming a free for all. Yes, I've asked for some details...not particularly out of any great interest of my own; but because it was rather likely that the matter would be raised later. I chose to ask myself so I choose the manner in which the questions were presented.

BTW - many of our members are also part of the 21st century...most speak English, even if it is a 2nd or 3rd language for them, and we can read, as well. I don't know why you're so intent on being antagonistic here; but you'll be much better accepted if you tone it down. I get that you're here for whatever purpose, and that you'll likely leave when this thread dies down; but you might find that civility gets better results than snark.

I will look for that information for you when I am able. I agree that the antognistic tones should stop. Yes, Jim has had that attitude on this entire thread, so I understand why people are on edge. I do believe he's not able to retaliate at the moment, so this gives us time to take a deep breath and get our point across calmly.

[Perhaps you should read some of the threads on the subject in the Fauna Feedback Forum - it is far from a unique problem, and it has been discussed numerous times. I'm not going to get into methods, phone specifics, etc because that is all irrelevant to this thread.

As I stated "this may be true for some". It is not true for all.
As for what I stated, re. my personal experience with my phone, it is 100% truthful and I, Ms. Katie, am not a liar.
BTW I do not have an IPhone. I have Android.

This is very true.
Proof, if any exists, should be posted in this thread.
There have been allegations, from both sides of the fence, with a great lack of proof for most of it.
