    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well I had taken a 4 day weekend so on Mon morning I went in early to catch up. I was in the front lobby when this young lady came up with a box. In it was a very tiny kitten with pus infected eyes and very skinny. She works night shift at Walmart and it was in parking lot. She put in car and came to Police Dept. I told her I would give to animal warden when he came in.

First thing out of his mouth was he was going to put it down. I said if I take it to vet and there is nothing major wrong I will keep it but if it was seriously ill then he would humanely put down. I work about an hour away from home so he ran it over to a local vet. Big mistake as it cost $220. My vet would have charged maybe $100 or less.

They did keep over night. No major issues and tested for Leukemia, distemper and such. Only 4 weeks old so no worming or shots yet. He has settled in my Boxers old crate real nice and is now allowing dogs to lick and sniff and purring and head rubbing now.

Sorry! Forgot to have it resize! If a mod can thanks.

so CUTE!!!!
Worth every penny. Bless you for saving him!

She's cute. Might have been a respiratory issue. Did you have her checked for cat flu? Start the wormer as soon as your vet says it's ok, and have her checked for parvo or FPV.

She sounds like she's got a winner of an owner. ;-) If she was closer to me I'd love her...But she's got a good one now.

Yes he was tested for Parvo and FPV and any other baddies. He can be wormed in another 10 days and fixed. Eyes are fine now and he is starting to play and even allows the Boxers to lick him. Eating like a champ. Still confined to large dog kennel. Very small but fast. I get him out for 10 - 15 min play time every few hours. Too many places to hide in this house!

Shots and wormer and bath. Double the weight and nice and comfy
