    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Dav Kaufman - Beware

I will look at last years pictures and see if I have any still. Since I still don't have my website up because I don't have pictures. I usually take pictures with my phone and delete them when they are gone. Since he did not want any a year ago I am not sure if I kept any because everything seemed fine. Everything I produced was het pied only so I try to give those away as freebies in order to sell other snakes. I do not keep feed records either for snakes once they are gone. That's why I never asked for anything for lost clutches.....you can't because there is no way of knowing what would have been produced. And once again, at this point it doesn't matter who produced it.
 
that's why I needed Otto to post pictures of the ones he took. I usually only take an individual picture of a snake to post on here then delete. Most go to shows so unless its super cool, I let them go without pictures.

Randy, I know my man. I was being a bit sarcastic. What Dav is asking seems very unreasonable. I myself understand your point Randy. Yes you produced offspring off of it, and yes maybe you sold some and made a few bucks here and there. But I'm sure nowhere near what you would've like to have made if the offspring were actually of the Leopard gene.

Dav lets be real here buddy. Did you expect Randy to hang on to each and everyone of the offspring produced? Quit trying to make things difficult and quit dragging this stuff out longer than it needs to be. Man up and make it right. Something so petty isn't worth years of hard work, dedication and the time it took you to build up your reputation. You sit behind your keyboard and point the finger at Randy for not calling you, but it would've been just as easy for you to pick up the phone and dial his number as well. Every single text message you posted on here showing the conversation between you two, Randy had already posted.

Some people act as if these damn things shit gold. They're animals for crying out loud. You can always just produce more! It's not hard. If it was, the market wouldn't be as flooded as it is right now. Selling them is hard enough, then people screwing people and not wanting to make things right and only make it worse!!

Randy I hope Dav resolves this soon.

He's counting on you not having everything on his list of demands. I don't believe he'd give you any money anyway.
 
Yeah Milo I hear ya. As many people know and I have posted before, I get up at 2:45, leave for work at 3:45, work a 10 hour shift, get off at 3, pick my son up at 3:30 from school, and coach little league. I get mad when my feeding schedule is off, but it's hard to do. People know I posted about my new building a couple years ago.....I just put 3/4 of the wood floor in Labor Day weekend! I have texts I cn post from a forum member John Gurlie and me. I traded him like 5 snakes for a website a couple years ago. It's still not up because I am VERY photo challenged. I have a text from January telling him I am going to hire a photographer because I need the site up before the January show. It since was deleted a few months ago by his it guys because it was still incomplete. He just got it back on there for me, if I ever get pictures. I am more than happy to provide that if anyone needs to see it. Dav accepted it back then so why keep them on my phone. He accepted here in his texts that "he was involved so he would do what he could to make me happy" and I have said that I do not need reimbursement for lost clutches. Now it's more about he accepted it until he heard my thoughts, then he was a broker (even though his ad says the money is going to fund his movie and payment went to his production business), then he lacked in the communication department, when told I was going to do this countered with I have 20 years of good customer service so go ahead, I did then he blamed me for doing this to him.....think that's where we are?

Yeah feeding records for every baby you have hatched......that does sound stupid huh.......I was scratching my head like why don't I have those:shrug01:

I actually looked! I had degui for record keeping and tried to keep feeding records until everyone kept asking me why I didn't name my snakes? I had a hard time naming my kid let alone a dog but I did it! I came up with names for all of them one long night, then it mixed up all my files because they were named what they were and it lost them. After that I realized that no one has ever asked me for a feeding record, only "what are they on/eating" so I don't waste the time now
 
Randy and Dav lets see if we can find some middle ground.

Randy are you willing to settle for $1,545 in cash and you keep the snake in question and all it's offspring?

Dav, are you willing to pay Randy $1,545 and just let him keep the snake and offspring?

In this deal, Randy is out of time and energy breeding a snake that was not what it was sold as.

Dav, would return the money that randy gave him and only be out the price of a normal pie python.


The price of the snake in question is simply not worth sending it over night.

Both parties lose in this deal, but is fair and would put this matter behind us.

Regardless of your belief in its relevance or lack there of, I would like to know the number of non-leopard offspring that were produced by the questionable parent.
 
I am all for Nick to get his answer, as to how many offspring were produced, and see no harm in his asking nor in his receiving an answer.

With that said,
Although numbers/percentages can be used, to determine a higher likelihood that a certain gene does not exist, there comes a point when it may not matter how many offspring were produced.
Well, unless it is something so low as having produced, for example, only "one, two, or three" total offspring (which would not indicate the existence of, or non-existence of, a certain gene).
This is because time needs to be a factor. Such as, how many years/seasons is it reasonable, vs. Unreasonable, to keep "test breeding".

Also, not necessarily in this case but, in general, what if there is a case where it comes to having to take legal action. There is a statute of limitations, for this type of civil matter, that needs to be considered (dependent upon certain actions or lack of certain actions).
Although, ethically speaking, there would be no statute of limitations. ;)
