• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Beware! !!! Graveexotics/Alex graves /possibly Alex may

That what I told him. I said if it's not you then come on the forum we're talking about you on and you were viewing a few minutes ago and clear the air

Jason, did the person that stole your animals use the same 'rudeboy0215' email address when he contacted you?

Interesting to note that user: Tgraves14 user reg email is in fact [email protected], states in his bio that he tattoos and the hoobly link user name is 'graveexotics'. Somehow, we're to believe it is not the same person?

That info was given via Craig Wyatt. I looked it up and messaged the user. They messaged me back denying it was them so, I invited him to come on this forum to clear the air, and he's a no show. And like you said, everything is too coincidental that he's from joplin Missouri does tattoos the hole 9.

Well that pic I showed b4 was what came up when I searched his email address. So if anyone here knows this guy or someone that does, please let him and or them know that he's about to get himself locked up unless he comes clean and either upholds his end of the bargain (which I doubt) or returns my animals, no questions asked.

He just shut down his email address. This ******* is running scared. If nothing materializes from this atleast we got rid of another scammer from our community!!
Well... Hopefully.

The risk you run when you scam and steal....eventually you steal from a fugitive hunter ex cop! Oops. Let this be a warning to the other scammers out there. Your victim may not know at first who you are, but you don't know who THEY are either.......and you might just steal from someone who will get you thrown in jail, convicted of crimes and ordered to pay restitution.
I hope the OP gets his iguana back in good condition and this crook in jail.

Nope! Haven't heard a peep. He's scrambling now trying.to shut all his stuff down. Just spoke with Craig and he said he just noticed the phone number I sent him, was used by the same scammer to try and scam him.

A month ago when he tried to scam me I did some digging. Well I looked into his local craigslist and I found a reptile post. It had a number attached. So I texted him and asked if he knew this guy. Well of course he said no. I left it alone. Well the OP Just gave me his number AND GUESS WHAT!!!! Yup. You guessed it. It was Tyler Graves.
Well I just tried to call him and of coarse he didn't answer. So I left him a text and a message. I told him if he didn't contact me in the next couple hours and tell me he was shipping back the stolen animals that I would post his number and encourage everyone to call him. Plus I will continue to post his picture on hoobly and now that I'm thinking about it I'll post in craigslist in his area along with his picture.
Tyler the clock is ticking and there's not many ticks left. Tyler you do not want this to continue. Trust me on that. This all stops the second you do the right thing.

Well. Who would of thought he would just blow me off. Lol. Talk about cut off your nose despite your face. I would like to strongly encourage every single person that reads this to call and text Tyler Graves. Please encourage him to do the right thing and return the animals he stole.
Here is his cell number. 417-812-7271

You realize you can probably be sued for putting someones personal information all over the internet and asking people to harrass them right? Call an animal control unit in the area. Give them this information and see if they can work with the police to get your animals back before they get sold or moved.

More personal information than you would think is available already on the internet, and most phone numbers are available to the public. That phone number and this thread is valuable information in helping the next person dealing with Alex Graves identify him and choose whether to do business with him.

Those reading the request have a choice in whether to do business or whether to call, the request itself to talk to someone is not harassment in this situation, IMHO.

Slinging ill considered posts about suing people is not helpful.

Thank you Lucille for handling that matter. And for the original poster that was talking about me putting up personal info is grounds for being sued. I wish he would. That would put him and myself at the same place at the same time and I would love to have a one on one meeting with him. I have lots to say to his face. But I know he would never ever take a chance like that. It would require some huge cohonas on his part. I think he's packing something like raisins.
When I originally started doing my own research I found his number on craigslist in Joplin. He put it there himself. All I had to do was find it. And I did:)

Yeah, but this is the internet, requesting random amounts of people to call someones phone just seems like its not a best practice. I understand the purpose of the thread and this section of the forum but that combined with the writing about using physical violence against the person might come off as a bit much.

Who ever said anything about using physical violence against him? I'm the guy he stole from. I'm a retired police officer, and I would personally process the paper work to land his ass in jail. And second I think the phone # thing is great. Screw him. He wants to be a dirt bag and screw people over, he deserves to be harassed.

I agree it may not be the best idea to encourage readers to call that phone number and "nudge" 'the owner of that number to do the right thing, especially since the true identity of this thief has not been positively nailed and the phone could also be disposable. A search of the number brings back absolutely nothing, nor does the names/aliases used.

I do not agree that anyone could possibly be sued disclosing the information this thief freely disclosed in order to commit theft and fraud, including the address to which the OP shipped his animals.

If the OP is indeed a retired police officer and can easily track him down, as he has claimed, then he should do so and reclaim his animals and then bring appropriate charges.

No other outside "urging" is appropriate, IMWO ... except for further digging into this thief's true identity.
