In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Garret Smith ( Scammer )

One thing Garrett can't accuse me of is using Karma as a weapon like he has. I will say one thing. This is not a popularity contest Garrett. Bring it!

Garrett, you were pretty cocky about the lack of partocipation with regard to ALL OF THE DEAD ANIMALS people got from you. Your history speaks for itself. But not for this site, you would nit be scrambling to do your sub par damage control. Wink wink.

I just received a private message that Shane Reaume is one of Mikes friend that he collects Uromastyx with. I should of known.

Garrett

And to be clear this is a flat out lie, another lie by Garrett to discredit those who disrupt his game and other lies. This is becoming a multilayer of lies Garrett.

I just received a private message that Shane Reaume is one of Mikes friend that he collects Uromastyx with. I should of known.
Garrett

Produce the private message, and prove Shane is exactly that, a collector of Uromastyx "WITH" Michael. If he is, does that make you feel better about owing Michael $6500?

I'm betting you didn't receive one, & Shane isn't a collector of Uromastyx "WITH" Michael.

Again, are you getting any closer to paying those you owe?

If I remember correctly ... Since the time that the Skype offer first began, Garrett has not stated that he would give Mike the Pakistan individual's contact info.
Garrett stated that he would set up a Skype chat between Mike & the Pakistan individual.
Then, later (and just recently), that Mike would have to request it via the BOI.
IOW Garrett would keep the control and would not have to give Mike any direct contact info.
I am guessing Garrett would act as a "go between" by giving the Pakistan individual Mike's Skype info and when (time/day) to contact Mike. Again, that is just a guess because I don't know how Garrett actually intends to set it up.

Garrett, it does seem that you have done extremely little to instill confidence in this deal.

BTW Garrett, who was it that, allegedly, told you that you needed that one, alleged $8000, document that you didn't actually need since it does nothing for the exportation of UROs from Pakistan?

....

Garret Smith is always derailing conversations he can never stay on the same topic and tends to ignore all questions that don't convient him to answer with out trying to one up the person asking them , looks like im gonna have to wait another 9 months to get the contact information for the Pakistan shipment

Mike,

If i were you, i would stick to my guns and push on a refund or stick with the original deal for the animals in question. I personally wouldn't agree to anything else or change the deal. IF you continue to change up the program, that will give him ammunition and opens the door for him to continue derailing any power points.

Just a thought = )

Jay,
You can go back and fourth with this guy, until next year, and guaranteed you will never get a straight answer out of him to any question you ask, his only response will be, changing the subject, or putting it back on you, or pure BS.

If you noticed, you have imported for a long, long time. His reply, I've been importing for a long, long, long, time myself..

My point, he feels he has to one up who ever comes in contact with him, or start his childish back lashing, name calling, or leaving snide, vulgar comments on your karma.

He's been asked numerous times, by numerous people, he answers by blocking, ignoring, or changing the subject.

It's as simple as, frogman, when are you going to pay Michael, and the other 2 you received $20,500.00 back in January 2015 for Uromastyx?

For those of you thinking he's now handling this in a calm manner, don't be fooled, a leopard never changes his spots.....

Did you agree at any point to the deal for substitution of hardwickii with barbata?

I feel like commenting this, because it costed me a lot time to help them in their solution:

Beginning October I saw in this BOI, that Garrett and Michael found a solution.
Please check posts 271, 277 and 302 created by Michael. Those show that they have a agreement.

When I read it first, I wrote an email to Michael, expressing, that I will make sure, Garrett stays to his word and will personally take charge of shipping the animals.

Behind the scenes I wrote with Michael, as I wanted to help him.
On Saturday morning I reported to Michael, that I have a shipment leaving Germany on Tuesday to Miami. And that I spoke with both Garrett and the receiver of the shipment. The receiver agreed on receiving Michaels barbatas.
I did this so that he has the animals, that Garrett and Michael agreed on as soon as possible.

I have a couple of emails, and here openly in different post Garrett and Miachael comment their agreement.

Saturday midday my time, I received a email from Michael, saying, that he is very thankful I help him getting the animals and that he will make sure, everyone knows, I took care of him. And that he is very happy he gets the animals.
1 hour and 40 minutes later, I got an email from Michael, saying (just as short summery): I don´t want the animals any longer.
Then another mail: Tell Garrett I don´t want them anymore (also a summery).

Thats why I reported to Garrett saturday evening. Thats why he wrote Michael is backing out of another deal.

So now:
I spend a lot of time to get the animals for Michael to me, took care of them, spend my own money in their care, arrangeed a shipment, made the booking, made the customs reports,...... And now that.

That is very damning if correct
Thank you for sharing Marcus.
Any comment Michael?

And because it brought some kind of confusion here, and I read something of very common animals, or rankini or bearded dragons:

Regular bearded dragons are Pogona vitticeps. Most common.
The Rankinis are Pogona henrylawsoni. Quite common.

They agreed on Pogona barbata. 4 pairs. Uncommon to rare.

Thats 3 different species that were mixed together.
I cannot estimate a value in the US. But it is far away from the 250$ pair price I read here in one post. If it would be like this, please send them here. That would be a amazing catch...

And also I can say that they are captive breed in Europe. And I can say that the number of available offspring is a very low number. Why I know it? Because the only once available in Europe I have here ;)

Mike spent his own money ALMOST A YEAR AGO! But forget that for a second. Why are you doing damage control for Garrett? He's a big boy. You yourself said in post #202, and I quote, "so I would kindly ask you not to involve me here in a situation between you and Garrett". Same post..."don't mix me into this deal you have with Garrett". Just sayin'.

Just Googled the price of the animals offered this was on fauna last year

Hi Markus,
I was being a bit facetious with Garrett on the p. barbata, as I have seen them here in the US back in the 80's. This is when rankins dominated the market (a smaller one). They did not stick, due to being more difficult not only to breed, but to handle. Definitely a small market, even if we get established.

With that aside, I think due to the conversations directly with you, and so far being a stand-up guy, I think Michael should reconsider taking these if in fact Garrett does not have a pick of a group of them (the only ones shipped in) and they arrive healthy (to Mike from Garrett - pics/video should be done while unpacking). I would personally be on the waiting list for babies if you take them on Michael. You could recoup the costs if you take the time to establish appropriate habitat/breeding set-up. Might be more work that the dry loving critters you are working with now, but might be fun. As the only one in the US, you should be able to make your money back fairly fast (depending on the breeding successes).

Michael,

If you did agree and included a third party (Markus) who has taken time and expenses to make a remedy deal, you should take this on. I know (we all do) know Garrett is an a-hole, but lets keep your reputation and after all, it is not like you are getting something of no value. They might turn out to be a fun project.

Hey Fireman1464, this is your first post and the add was their first post. Anything can be offered for a price, that does not equate to actual value. The market determines the value, not the sellers price.

Yeah, I got that "facetious" when I saw that funny picture. How cool it would be such a funny looking animal.:)

Just to set it correct:
I personally know that there are already some barbata in the US. And that the once offered lately sold good. Those came from the same breeder the once I have for Michael come from.
I have here 6 pairs of those. 2 additional young females and a very few unsexed babies. Thats what I meant with I have all available in Europe here.
It is 8 animals in total he gets. 4 pairs. Save sexed. So not much left for others to compete with him when he sells them, if he sells them.
The size of the once he gets is like that of an adult Pogona henrylawsoni. I can compare that quite well, as I breed henrys.

I understand that and I'm not saying he will get 2500 but I would say they are worth more than 250 a pair wouldn't you
