    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Garret Smith ( Scammer )

I am aware of around 20 barbata sitting in california as we speak. I won't comment much about the agreement except that it seems only fair that mike gets to reneg on a deal if garret does? My thoughts are maybe on impulse he figured something is better than nothing and then realized it was a mistake.
The main point of my posting is keeping facts facts. Barbata are not that rare in the US also they are not worth the value stated in this thread. Not even close. Furtheore they will never have real viability in the market. They were the pogona in captivity for years and then boom! Vitticeps kicked them out.
One because vittiveps meets the standards necessary for commercial viability. Barbatus is not the easy captive that vittiveps is. They are very pissy they are nothing at all like vittiveps

An impulse everyone can understand.
But:
As you can see in masages posted in this boi (including screenshots Garrett and Michael using whatsapp9) they made this agreement end of September.
Thats why Michael asked for shipping dates not only once.
And thats why I arranged the animals coming to me from the breeder, thats why I spend time and money. Thats why I arranged a transport. Thats why I reported the transport to customs.
An impulse is what happened saturday. Writting "thats the best news I have had all year" and then saying, nope, don´t want them.

To Chris: Don´t try to put a nice thing I did into negativ. The reason I helped them is what I wrote to Mike: I cite myself from one of the last emails: " Again: I am only doing this to help you and Garrett out in your situation. I don´t have to, but I like it when when we all can enjoy our hobby :)

I do not think it's right that Michael has to take on the work of caring for and reselling of animals that were not the original deal but if he wants to be done with this I think this is the best option because we all know that he is not going to get a cash refund

You're right, it was a mice thing. That doesn't explain why you did it. This is Garrett's mess and you made it clear that you didn't want to be associated with it when you said in post #202..."so I would kindly ask you not to involve me here in a situation between you and Garrett" and "don't mix me into this deal with Garrett". Obviously you, for some reason, changed your mind. So did Mike.
 
To clarify. I'm asking why you guys try to make it sound like mike is backing out and all this money u put in for care when u planned on having them anyway?

Generosity is the reason Markus did that and that is fine by me.

The deal is between Michael and Garrett and Markus is under no obligation to do anything. Anything he does to try to lubricate a currently rough deal is an act of kindness. I can question anything, but I applaud this behavior. It appears good-natured to me.

This is what I wrote here earlier. So there is nothing wrong about the add Garrett made.
And it has nothing to do with the deal they have.

And this I wrote in post 362: Post 362: But I know that Garrett and Mike are communicating about a solution, and from emails with Mike and WhatsApp with Garrett I know what they agreed on.
I believe that's why both of them stepped back from commenting everything here.
And as someone carefully reading this threat and also other threats in the boi, that's the best they can do....

I don´t let it show like I just made up that shipment. I described Michael very exact, that I have a shipment on tuesday and managed to have the receiver receive his animals.

I have no advantage at all. I wanted to help Michael.
 
So you're saying you already planned to ship Barbara and you're adding his 4.4? I just thought it weird that he plans on getting them anyway and you happen to make room for the 4.4 that aren't originally in that shipment. Just trying to make sense of everything and not confuse anyone.

Yes another reason for Mike to change his mind, as it appears Markus already had time into this outside of Michael and no special care, except assisting Gerritt sell these via conversation. I notice Gerritt changed the add at 10-17-2015 at 06:59 AM, by chance is this to remove price? Anyways not my point, it is that Markus really is losing nothing here if Michael decides he does not want the dragons Gerritt was already importing, to satisfy the other deal gone bad.

Seems you want to help Markus, but still siding with Gerritt for some reason. I know keeping good business partners is difficult, but this is one you need to drop.

We did plan to import some. That is correct. But only a few animals.
As I stated before Garrett asked if he can buy out some. And thats OK.

As I am running a bussiness I have to make profit on animals I sell. And that Garrett buys out those that lowers my profit.
So I had to get the other animals. That took time and taking care of more animals means more terrariums have to be taken care for.

I wrote here in detail, what animals I have here. I would have earned more, if it was just the pairs, Michael is getting.

Thats why I was really dissapointed yesterday.
 
So the 4.4 garrett planed to give are not from the shipment that he posts about? It just doesn't make sense that you would have to get more instead of sending the ones you had? Seeing as they aren't 2 grand in Europe. Who keeps all the extra money? This whole deal makes no sense.

No sence?

He wanted 4.4 that he agreed on with Garrett. He confirmed it here in the boi. I wanted to help him.
He says "Best news of the year". 1hour and 40 minutes later he suddenly, after weeks that this deal was made, writes, I don´t want them anymore.
He writes:
This is the probably the best news i have had all year and I'm really happy and appreciate the effort you have put in to expedite my refund , i will go on the BOI and clarify that you are the main reason things are going right now.
That makes no sence.

I had animals here for sale, that I was going to send to Garrett. I had to get additional animals as Michael wanted them. And as I still wanted some for sale. Because that is my bussiness. Sale animals.
That makes total sence.

Why I did it: Because I wanted them to get out of this situation. Because I wanted to help Michael.

It is leaving me speechles, if helping Michael is something that is even minimally criticised.
