For 6500$ I think a 7 hour drive is a non issue . It's a lot better than living in Cali and trying to sue someone in New York!

For you it may not be, but for someone with life/health issues a seven hour drive one way - which for me means an overnight in a hotel and two lost work days from my day job and home business - is a lot.

The OP could contact the court in this guy's county and ask to be mailed the small claims forms, or he could find someone in the county to get them and mail them to him, and then he could handle all of the service by mail and just show up on the actual court date. He does have time to get it done, as the statute of limitations is two years and he sent the funds on 1/7/15.

So, does anyone have a friend near Chico, CA?

Chico huh, that is 8 hours on a good day for Michael. My wife who has a similar disease could hardly take that drive in the passenger seat. Let's all not forget he is dealing with a deadly disease that can be very energy depleting.

Im going through alot of medical issues at the moment things im not sure i should be posting on here like how i have to go to UCLA next week to see another hematologist and from there ill know if ill have a spleenectomy or a another infusion done so for me to get up and drive 8 hours north isn't as easy at it sounds and even if i drive up there what does that mean garret is gonna write me a check for $6500? I highly doubt that knowing garret the first thing he would do would contact the police , i have been messaging him for the past couple days asking him about my refund but seems to me hes to busy scamming others , bottom line is Don't DEAL WITH GARRET SMITH OR ANYONE HES ASSOCIATED WITH THERE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND SCAMMERS PERIOD

Small Claims Court is a joke, let's say you win, and you will win, at that point you get a judgement in your favor, then it's up to you to collect from him, because the court won't collect for you. Now you have to spend more money to collect the money you're already out.

Winning a judgement, doesn't get your money back.

I've been talking with a couple a folks of interest in Federal Law Enforcement the last couple of days, I'll contact you personally when I something concrete for you. I assure you, I will have something for you before this is over & done. Frogman isn't getting away with this. GUARANTEED!

The others are on their own at this point, if all they want to do is sit back & view this thread from afar, not stand up for themselves, and continue to listen to more of frogman's CRAP, well then, let them get, what they get. I'm quite sure that will be what they have received thus far, NOTHING!

Unfortunately, if he gets any of his victims to agree to new deals, or if they accept so much as 10 dollars from him, they're screwed. He knows how the system works and will prolong this until they all give up. This isn't Garrett's first scamming rodeo. He's probably taking lessons from Markus's other partner Oskroba.

It's my opinion, that's not so, about the $10 payments, that works for a basic debt owed, IE, credit card debt, bank loans, basic bad debts, etc.

That's not going to work, when you done what frogman has done, THEFT BY DECEPTION.

By him telling Michael, send me $6500, and I'll send you Hardwickii, when in my opinon, he received Michael's money and didn't buy Uro's, instead purchased, what ever it was he purchased, (most likely iguanas) or what ever he was advertising a month or so later, after receiving the monies from Michael, & others at that time.

It's my opinion, frogman is your typical, CON-ARTIST, finding out what trips a persons trigger, in this case RARE Uromastyx, Michael & John was told exactly what tripped their most desirable triggers, RARE Uro's....When Michael & John, bit, frogman set the hook. A Typical CON!

Frogman is a Documented, CONVICTED SMUGGLER, which should of been the first red flag, to anyone sending large amounts of money.

It's obvious no one checked it out, before sending him their money.

It's my opinion, frogman is a flat out, CON-ARTIST, because if he wasn't, he would've ponied up PROOF a long time ago.

By the way, John Riportella was refunded his $2500, 4 months after sending it to frogman, which was at the same time Michael sent his.

I've said it before, if you and the rest of those he owes, will contact the DA'S office there in Butte County California, which is the county Chico is in, someone will look into it.

I spoke with the DA'S office there personally, filled them in on what I know about Garrett Smith, and those he owes, and was told that's FRAUD, (DAH!) and I was assured someone will look into to this situation, BUT, it MUST come from the victims themselves.

So, with that said, in state, that's you Michael, you'll call the Fraud Line at 1-866-323-7283. State your case.

Out of state, that's Jimmy, Maria, & Charlie, and any one else he owes, you'll call direct to the DA'S office at 1-530-538-7411 state your case, and they'll direct you to the fraud unit.

So what are you all waiting for? Let your fingers do the walking, and make this Con-Artist pay up.

Come on, he's filled each of you with BS, Lies, & excuses thus far, do you all think, all his latest BS, Lies, & excuses, are the truth, come on people get REAL.

I truly hope you post those emails. If the others get on board, it will show a pattern of abuse. And please don't let Garrett ruin this hobby for you. Justice will be served.
