• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Kevin Debusk owner of Smokey Mountain Reptiles Scam Alert. I emailed Kevin about a $500 Ghost Boa he had
in the classifieds, I asked him if he would take $400 he said yes.
I then asked him if I could add afemale to the deal and he tried to sell me a different male + the Female for $460 . I told him I was not interested in that male and that I wanted the 1st one.He told me his Daughter wanted it and that he could not sell it.He told me I only have one male left and
he told me I could have it for $425 along with a female.I sent him a add of a Snake he had up and he said that is the one. Then after inqiring about a different ad he had for sale I found out it in fact wasnt him but he said they look alike.I told him I wanted my money back or send me a Good Snake.
He told me I wouild have to wait till he gets paid in two weeks cause he spent the money on rats.He also said I would have to pay for shipping even though i let him know right away I didnt want the ugly snake and to send my money back.

As asked in the previous thread, can you please post all communications (emails) in their entire form (with profanity edited only) in order to better give us a timeline and understanding of what was, and was not, agreed upon. Until one side can provide these emails it is unclear if this is buyers remorse or a miscommunication mishandled.

Screen shots would be the way to go, since there are supposedly images involved.
Also, where was the snake advertised?

I agree. Chris, please do not ignore requests for emails, you have made a very specific allegation as to the timeline and avoiding a response makes it appear that you may have something to hide.

Name your own price, you get merchandise in your price range. Don't be so cheap and you wouldn't have had any issues.

One should get exactly what was agreed upon, regardless of whether or not they paid the full asking price. Price isn't the issue in this thread; it's a matter of whether or not the OP was made clearly aware of exactly which animal he was actually buying.

You seem to be advocating the idea that it's ok for a seller to substitute a lower-quality animal on a whim, without the buyer agreeing to the substitution. :shootfoot
