    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not necessarily, but this is a bad guy thread with a big red X next to his name...that in itself is disparaging...

Funny how easy it is to have something come up and not be able to respond right away. Good thing she didn't buy anything from you or she might do what you did (flip out for no reason, demand a refund, and make a bad guy thread after not hearing back immediately).

:iagree: while I'm far more patient and understanding it's a wonderful example. I think people often forget to put themselves in others shoes before flipping out. What if Tommy had a family emergency just like the op did? A day or 2 waiting for a response is annoying but imo not a reason to demand a refund and start a bad guy thread. We all have lives outside of herps, I'd say after a week or 2 it would be a different story but 2 days is nothing especially when the seller has been very responsive and it's not your first transaction with them.

Regarding the quarantine question - it's not an unreasonable assumption to think that animals in the same cage are housed together. People on the internet don't know your experience level so just mentioning it is pretty reasonable IMHO. I'm glad it was just for the pic, and that the situation worked out.

I think this should be a good guy thread instead. Tommy put up with a lot of grief and still resolved the situation to the buyer's satisfaction where most would have hit the ignore button and moved on.

Not how it works and for good reason. If we did that, we would be partially on the hook if there were a scamming "good guy" or a illegitimately labeled "bad guy" involved in such threads. There is no good reason for the owner and staff to assume and bear risk associated with indications of official judgments and sanctions. These sorts of suggestions are welcome on the site assistance and feedback forum, although the multi-faceted machine is how it is for various functional or necessary reasons.
 
LOL sounds like his wife chewed him out for buying some animals and he had to cancel his order LMAO!!! Thomas was very polite and respectful. Nothing about him sounded shady. When you take money out of paypal it takes a few days to get it into your bank account.
