    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone seen one of PETA's newest videos? I didn't really want to start this thread but as I watched more and more I was baffled at the disrespect showed to animals in this video! I watched animals being crammed into small cage, cannibalism, malnourishment etc. I know that I am going to get some penalization from the moderators for posting this on her but this is a situation where law enforcement needs to intervene and people need to be aware of the scumbags that run this company!

I really hope that people share their thoughts on this and as for you Reptiles by Mac WE WANT ANSWERS ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Yes, and it's already been debated. Given PETA's legendary ability to take images grossly out of context to promote their distorted views, I am withholding judgement. Also, it appears Reptiles By Mac is understandably seeking legal advice and is currently not able to comment.

Since when do any right-minded reptile keepers believe anything that comes from the people at PETA?

You posted a Bad Guy thread, how did RBM wrong you to deserve this title - you personally. Posted this thread without realizing that there are two other threads regarding this exact same matter and if my memory serves me right, one them is posted as an "info", not even Bad Guy.

Do a search next time.

If this video came from anyone other than PETA then maybe I'd take it seriously.
 
I agree there needs to be an investigation. PETA shouldn't get away with trying to sabotage someone's business. I wonder if the filming violated the employees's contracts or any state laws, aside from any possible animal cruelty charges for not caring for animals as they were paid to do.
 
I bought a female butter motley corn snake from Reptiles by Mack at Tinley NARBC on October 10, 2015 and it was a great experience all around. I have nothing but nice things to say about these folks, my pre and post purchase experience, and the healthy little snake I bought from them. I do not agree with this bad guy designation that is not based on personal experience with this seller, as well as its being totally contrary to my experience.

If RBM has suffered a provable financial loss, such as PetSmart cancelling its contract, as a result of the video then RMB could go after PETA in a defamation suit.

If not, then RBM would do well to heed the advice of attorney Louis Nizer. Paraphrased: Being defamed or insulted is like having mud splashed on your suit. If you try to clean it away while it is fresh, you will just streak your clothes and the stain will be with you forever. But if you do nothing and wait until the mud dries, you could flick it off and it would leave no mark.
