Actually you have said over and over my animals were no legit. Also regarding good guy posts. Often times people with insecurities and inflated egos persuade customers to post good guy threads. Don't know if that's the case or not. I know I have zero bad guy posts on here and I've been doing this for well over 20 years.
I started the post specifically to put a spotlight on you Barry. You orange around like this super nice guy who is super legit. You call people out to take the spotlight off of yourself. You also are antagonistic, attempt to intimidate and throw out threats like rice in wedding day. Your reaction here was very subdued compared to what you do when the spotlight of fauna is in you. You had a difficult time controlling yourself here in the very limited and unsuccessful way you did. You are irrational, unreasonable explosive. And you have indictments for smuggling. So I thought it would be good to let others in the community know.

Actually the requirement is for real names - the reasoning behind it has been posted numerous times; so I'm not going to waste space on that here - so, having his name shown as Jay, when his name is Paul, is a violation...regardless of what he uses. He can certainly opt to have his name shown as Paul "Jay" Sommers, and that would be no problem.

Thank you Jay. I admit at first I thought it was odd you would not just attach your proof and be done with this guy. By waiting it out, you made him expose himself for who he truly is. Will not be dealing with Spectrum after reading this, kind of counterproductive on your part Barry.

The issue here is that I have fielded multiple barrages of threats , cussing , name calling and constant antagonion from Barry. So I felt it necessary to expose him to the world for who he really is. And people can decide whether or not they want to do business with him. He is not the person he presents himself as online. Finally he will hopefully move on and change his ways. I am not that sorry if people thinkni acted unprofessionally.
If you had dealt with what I have than you would understand my position.

lol Jay we handle things the same, and myself have found reputation issues by simply sticking up for myself. Some environments that is the only way to handle things and hard to let that "survival skill" go, so I get it. Keep doing what you do my brother from another mother!

Well the truth is I have been dealing with immature , insecure,wanna be tough guys my whole life from middle school through high school into the testosterone driven years of my 20's and apparently into my 40's. Now it's just online instead of being shoulder checked by some juiced up bonehead at a club. I handled them then and I will handle them now. When folks see me react a certain way what they don't realize is that I know what I'm doing. Im not technically stooping to someone's level I am drawing them out. I always have something in my back pocket. And folks are seeing the only view of the situation they can... What's online. They don't realize what's going on behind the scenes. All the stuff people(like Barry and mike matson) want to keep hidden.

The truth is Barry lambert and mike matson are very good chums. What a lot of folks don't know is that mike even went down to Barry's house with daddy's heavy equipment to grade trench and do other work for free. Buddies stick together... So when the stuff with mike matson blew up they had already been plotting behind the scenes. Conspiring... But I can take it it's ok and if I have to sacrifice some perceived poor behavior to have someone show their true colors so be it.
Shane you have been very aware of my interactions in the hobby similar to this on gecko forums for probably close to 20 years? Anyway im still here. Still in the hobby working with high level species as I always have. And people are still jealous( Barry of my geckos) and insecure( Barry in general). I mean his animal that he compares to naultinus in his collection is galapogos tortoises? They are easy to get in the US. But like I said this thread was fueled by jealousy and deflection by Barry lambert. Spectrum reptiles. Who thought he could cuss at me threaten me. Call me names and thought I was just gonna take it???
So sick and tired of hearing people talk about the legality of my naultinus let it go Barry and all the others like him. Hope this thread puts it to rest.

Jay has posted proof that his geckos are legal, so this matter should be closed. I have already advised Jay to no longer engage in word play with you. It is now counter productive.

And I won't. But an apology to people reading this thread for overreacting is hardly a peace offering to me. Especially when he can't iwn what he says. In his supposed attempt to bury the hatched he talked more smack, apologized to every one but me. And said he never accused me of having illegal or non legit naultinus( which is a flat out lie)

This thread in no way relates to me, and I'm not looking to get sucked into all this nastiness, but I do have a few things to say. I've only been a member for a matter of months, and in that time I've had some very successful transactions with respectable people. However, when I see people going back and forth attacking each other like Jay and Barry are, it saddens me and discourages me from wanting to do business with them. This hobby is enjoyable and interesting, and it's disheartening to see it cause such anger and upset. As businesspeople it should be your goal to make your customers happy, and to conduct yourselves with dignity, and when you BOTH stoop to such juvenile antics it damages both your reputations and businesses. You may disagree with the idea that these exchanges damage your businesses, but having read the entirety of this and other threads concerning both of you I would not consider engaging not in business with either of you (Jay and Barry). In just the past few days I've seen animals posted by your respective businesses (specifically spectrumreptiles) that I would certainly have purchased before seeing this juvenile behavior, but now I wouldn't even consider engaging in such a transaction with such immature people. Again, I do not know where the fault lies in this particular instance, nor am I posing an opinion on Jay's geckos, I'm just letting both of you know the impact of your public insult hurling.

The real issue is that all this started because of Barry and mike matson starting behind the scenes attacks on me, my credibility and my reputation. So before you pontificate here( which you have the right to do) read the bad guy boi posts on mike matson. This is mostly fueled because of him because Barry and him are friends. And mike matson got called out in his abusive bullying of a teenage girl. Have a good evening.

Alex I can see your view and knee jerk reaction, but honestly you are just ignorant as to how this played out and simply how things work. I actually read the entirety (you can't know the situation fully by just reading public stuff fyi) on the situation myself as well and had seen a very different view of the situation, hence my comments on Jay handling it the way I would have. It is hard to save face when you become the target of bad people who have no shame.

If you actually had any credibility or reputation yourself (not insulting, just adding perspective) than you would understand the need to protect that reputation and how that can trigger the need to expose the accusers lack of credibility. I am sure you do in some aspect of your life, just referring to this field btw. Also, if you want to inject, maybe it should have been on the BOI who actually could not prove the accuser wrong. I think in this BOI, the accused made it very clear he was wrongly accused with proof. At that point it should be closed discussion and any chatter after the fact only antagonize those who finally settled down.

While I agree with you that decorum has gone ~completely~ out the window, I have to agree with the caveat that this entire thread (as well as others at the "top" of the BOI) seems to be boing more than an out-pouring of misguided support of and retaliation for Mike Matson's fragile ego.

The situation being what it is, I can forgive Jay if his behavior is somewhat over the top. More importantly, in my opinion, is being able to make note of the individuals (in the case, Barry Lambert) who are willing to take up Mike's cause and "go to war" on his account....
