• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Can I get a second opinion, please?

Just want to confirm once and for all the sex of one of my hognose. Now I'm 99% sure it's a female. However it was sold as a male and I've been second guessing myself. First snake / first hognose.

And the other thing I'm curious about, what morph would you say the non normal is?

He's unfortunately just going blue. He was sold as a specific morph (Evans Hypo) but the seller was not the breeder and he couldn't remember where he'd purchased him. I'm assuming the seller was being honest but I'd love second opinions. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I would say it is female but it is hard to say what morph while it is in blue. Take more pictures after shed.

I can't really tell much from the photo's but here's a comparison of my pair for reference.

Male- Normal 50% poss het Caramel, Dutch Hypo(=Frosted).

Female- Frosted.

Thanks so much for the photos!

My normal does seem to have a much more tapered tail than my male. (S)he is undersized however (poor start, trouble feeding for a while) but has a great appetite now.

My male after his shed.

I've also picked up a new female.

I've got small hands (well, I'm just small/short in general) which has led to some confusion about the size of my snakes. This one I haven't weighed but was told sh'es 290g. My others are 60g (Male) and 80g

Those new photo's are much clearer. I'm leaning towards female for your normal as well after seeing those.

As for the morph of your male, it looks like an Evans Hypo to me. The belly, the colours, all match :)
