    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

That is a good size, but way over priced. Your better off giving it to steinhart aquarium or east bay vivarium.good luck

$400 IS A GREAT PRICE FOR A BIG TAME NILE. GUYS THIS ISNT 1999. ITS 2016 AND WE DONT SEE MANY BIG TAME NILES. AWESOME MONITOR, WHOEVER GETS HIM WILL BE HAPPY !

REPTILE DJ said $400 is great price for 5 foot tame nile monitor over 6 year old but still growing to 6 foot. Thanks REPTILE DJ for reasonable marketing value, It took me 6 years to grow this side and it live in 8 foot long cage now.

It's your lizard I can't force you to sell him to me and reptile dj is right we aren't in 1999 but in 2016 we are in an economic downturn and captive bred nile babies and even captive hatched Niles are going for 30 dollars. 400 is super steep in my honest opinion. If reptile dj will buy him for 400 than great but I can't justify that much money for a nile. However I am only giving my opinion as an interested buyer.

I said no problem to you already if you only want to pay 150.00
I agree which you captive hatched Niles Only 30 dollars because Gangemiwsenior has 500 NILE MONITOR JUVINILES. Gangemiwsenior had posted two pictures how big they are right now for someone who is interested in it.

A BABY NILE (MEAN) FOR $30 THEN ADD 6 YRS OF FOOD AND SOCIAL TIME. THAT EQUALS MUCH MORE THAN $400. ITS A STEAL AT THIS PRICE. TRUST ME.

Leodan said 5 foot over 6 year old tamed male nile monitor only worth $150.00 right now. People who sell 5 foot monitor more than $150 is super steep in his honest opinion in faunaclassifieds.com

Economic downturn? Where do you live?

$400 is a very fair price.

Tame Nile's are rare and the look of the animal is one of my favorites. I'd easily pay $400 or more for that animal. I'm on the east coast though.
Nile's aren't worth much because of their notorious disposition, to have a tame one is something rare and you have to weigh that value as a seller and as a buyer imo.
Someone will want this one as a pet I'm sure-no way you should let it go for under your asking price.
