In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Karl Wilson

I've read the emails twice … I don't see scamming, I do see typical "flipper" behavior, trying to get an animal below retail. $100 off the current asking price ($250) isn't all that bad, definitely not an unheard of offer. As the seller, all Elexis had to say was no thank you & ignore the any other emails from him.

I get offered odd animals as trade, most way below the value of what I am selling; I say, "No, sorry." and move on.

Elexis, you will need to remove your emotions from your business personality; extreme dislike of someone should never show. I learned this the hard way many years ago. It may be hard to swallow your dislike of an individual, but it can be done.

I decide all the time not to sell to people & I'm always polite … its just good business.

Actually, I believe she said he tried to "beat her down" (melodramatics at play) for LESS THAN HALF the price. Maybe she's using some form of common core or something.

Karl Wilson is a known flipper in Ohio. He has contacted me several times trying to get my hypo jungles for less than half the cost, trying to tell me other breeders are cheaper etc and I would always tell him go to them then. I told him he will never get any of my animals, at least not from me. Then he would call me a bad person and all that and try to beat me down so I would sell.

He only had access to contact you several times because you never blocked his email the first time you didn't like the way he acted when he contacted you. Might try growing up a bit and learn some math while you're at it. He never asked you for half the price. Per your own screen shots. Melodramatics are getting old here.

Karl Wilson we believe also goes by the name James Bayles. He flips animals with almost no quarantine. And will trade broken products as well for animals.

I feel if he's willing to use another breeders animals to try to beat you down on price he may also try scamming with those same photos or others as well.

Though I don't feel flipping is good, there's no law against it. Don't like it, then don't deal with them. Simple as that. As for "beating someone down on price..." that goes on with EVERY commodity. If you don't like that, then don't deal with it. You don't HAVE to accept an offer, and you can just start telling people, "No thanks. Not interested." Instead of being a "victim" and saying he's "beating you/others down."

He will tell you your animals aren't that great then come at you another time with "wow theyre priced so great I'm shocked you have to keep reposting them". All in an attempt to try to get your animals for a lower price, make you feel as if your pricing is too high, just so he can pay a fraction them flip it for a profit later. I'll go through emails, I'll have to edit some as I did swear a bit because im tired of him bothering me and get the screen shots posted. I wasn't going to post anything until he used stolen photos trying to beat me down and I feel with the type of person he is he wouldn't think twice using those to scam people out of money.

If you don't like what is said to you then BLOCK THE PERSON SAYING IT. GROW UP! You wouldn't have gotten those other emails had you blocked his emails in the first place. You THRIVE on drama. You THRIVE on being a victim. It gets old! You can be the martyr and let people "beat you down" or you can grow up and see that YOU control how others treat you and deal with you. It's not a hard concept!

She doesn't know how to do that, because the whole world is "against her" and everyone "hates her." As she was told to earlier in the thread, "Block him and you won't have to deal with him." She can't/won't do that though because then she can't be a "martyr" and be the "victim."

Actually, I believe she said he tried to "beat her down" (melodramatics at play) for LESS THAN HALF the price. Maybe she's using some form of common core or something.

Yes, she is melodramatic, and decided to exaggerate on how bad he tried to "beat her down" on her price considering that before she said, "That's a $300 snake I've already marked down to $250." But even at that, it wasn't less than half at full price. It would have been exactly half. Since she marked it down to $250, he was only requesting $100 off.

Your initial post here says he tried to "beat you down" for less than half the cost. You had them marked down, selling them at 250 and he offered you 150. You marked down from 300, which is still not LESS than half. Just sayin'.
