Do not buy from Bela Halmi . I purchased a group of frogs from Him And he failed to ship on a few different occasions and there was serious lack of communication so I asked for a refund and was told I would get it on the 22nd . On the 22nd I was then told I wouldn't get it till the 24th.later on the 22nd I was told I would get it in a few hours. Then in the 24th I was told they would be mailing a money order as a refund that day and told the same thing on the 25th. Days go by without communication I have no set date when I will get my 200.00 back if he ever actually sends it who knows . Don't make the same mistake I did .

Hopefully you have escalated your Paypal claim. No matter what this guy says, do not close your claim until you actually have your money, once close a claim cannot ordinarily be reopened.

I find it difficult to envision this as an accident. I occasionally send my sons money gifts 'friends and family' and it seems a pretty distinct transaction.

So the total was $295, you were refunded $95 by your seller, you got $100 back from Paypal, and what is left is the $100 'friends and family' payment?
I think you should both work out here, which one of you is going to send Paypal the fees they did not get because of the 'accidental' ff transmission.

Your beliefs in weather or not the F and F transaction was intentional or not doesn't equate to fact . I was in a rush and didn't realize I hit F and F. I wouldn't have done it consciously for the exact reasons I'm experiencing now

It is a terrible situation,but you must realize that you did it consciously. If you were unconscious,you wouldn't have been able to log on to PayPal.

It doesn't benefit me in anyway to send it Friends and family and I did not do it intentionally. I can screen shot it where in notes i say it's part of a payment . I was busy and hit the wrong tab. I don't see how this is a bigger issue than the person who ripped me off still having active adds out there and I'm just trying to get the word out here so it doesn't happen to any more people .

You are definitely owed your $100, and I am glad you posted to warn our community. My post was mostly a reminder that Paypal is still owed their fee as well. Yes, small as far as the big picture is concerned. But worth mentioning.

You are, most certainly, owed the remaining $100.
It doesn't seem likely that the seller will come through with what is owed to you, considering the seller's "excuses", etc., but I do hope he(?) does.

I just don't want anyone else to get scammed by this guy . He has slot of tarantulas for sale and not the best bane in the arachnid hobby and very recently has ripped off quite a few others. I've urged them to post but they are still holding out hope because once you post something all your chances of getting anything back are gone

I think that a good number of times it works out quite the opposite way, that the other party wants readers to see posted afterwards that there was a fair and equitable solution worked out. After all, this is a permanent thread, and prospective buyers will read it.

FYI: I sent him a Private Message PM via Fauna. His last visit was 11/3/16, so who knows when his next one will be before he sees my message. If you would like to speed this up, you can always "email" him and advise him of the thread too.

I've texted him multiple times, he doesn't respond I've told him that if I didn't get what I was owed that I would post here and everywhere I can find .
