Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This guy Tom Parker/Tropical Tom's might be a FRAUD. He took our money and did not sent us the ballpython as he promised.Also did not refund as he promised.
We have tried to text him and call him but none reply.
It has been a month already.
We have post detail on our FB-GOODSHOP GS

Do you have emails, etc. you can post here please? Have you notified him of this thread?
 
I have tried to refund the money. Paypal will not let me add a new bank account number to draw the funds from. They have now tied up my account for 3-5 days after I once again tried to add a new account to draw the funds from.

On the fraud charge, I held the snake for several months. I was ready to ship her the whole time. He changed the shipping date forward to a date I was not able to ship on. He would not be getting a shipment again for multiple months, so now he wanted a refund. I will refund the money as soon as paypal lets me add a new account number. I am not sending him the money back without getting the paypal fees refunded. In reality there was never any provision made for a refund on a snake that I held and then had a one day window to ship to him or send the money back.

Please post emails, texts, proof from PayPal denying you to refund, and tying up your account, etc.

I will see if I can figure out how to post that. I am still trying to ad money to the account. The bank account that they have listed is no longer active. When I try to add a new account it will not take it. Paypal says I cannot delete the old account since they are trying to take money out of it. But the account is closed. The whole thing is annoying. On top of that I am refunding the money for a snake that I held for months. I did not go back to the buyer and say that there was never an agreement to refund the money, which I easily could have done. He moved the shipping date up with no warning and there was no way I could ship on the day he requested. Beware of overseas buyers is the lesson.

Just because someone is from overseas is no indication of the kind of person they are. Could you call Paypal, tell them the issue, and let them suggest a solution?
It sounds like he wants either the snake or his money, that is reasonable. If there were shipping issues please post emails.

Would you be able to post new screenshots of your communication here, including timestamps? The screenshots posted on your Facebook page are not complete and do not have any indication of when each message was sent.

Overseas buyers are an issue if the communication is difficult due to translation issues. He does not want the snake now. I had a one day shipping window. I am still working with paypal to figure out how to ad my bank account. It is a credit union and the account # will not register with paypal. Once I figure out how to ad money to the account I will refund his payment.

I am still working with paypal . They have frozen my account with all of the activity of trying to delete my old back account and add the new one. Reality of trying to deal with this order. No payment for shipping. Held the snake for four months. That was never discussed or agreed to. Finally sets shipping date and then moves up one day with almost no notice. Now wants full refund. I will pay him back in full, but not until paypal allows me to do the transaction as a refund. I am not going to pay the fee on this order.Have already wasted enough time and money on this. I am going to have a policy going forward for this kind of situation.

Just so I'm clear because there are no dates or timestamps posted on the screen shots, the buyer delayed shipping for four months and then finally wanted the snakes sent out last week on 11/24? Because that was Thanksgiving, nothing could ship that day due to the federal holiday, everything was closed.

Also to be clear, the buyer paid for the snakes but never did pay for shipping, even after telling you to ship on the 24th? And were the snakes to be shipped to an address in the US or overseas?

Do you have anything in your TOS about non-refundable deposits?
 
From the limited amount of information posted so far (lack of dates or shipping details etc), it does not appear that it warranted a bad guy title whatsoever.
