• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Both boas have been sold. Sincere thanks to those who bought the 2014/2015 litters and those who just wanted to talk shop. May your slithering pets provide decades of fascination and enjoyment.

From October 10th 2015 birth, $45 each plus shipping. Both captive bred, feeding readily on thawed frozen. Close magnification examination for spurs pegs them as 1.1, however gender is not guaranteed.

First photo is probable male, approximate size 68 grams and 20". Second photo is probable female, approximate size 44 grams and 17" (she was a slow starter).

Purchases for intent to breed to each other strongly discouraged, they are siblings.

Business names of the parents' breeders and dates purchased available upon request.

None are known or suspected to carry any morph genes.

Very good natured snakes, with little fear of people, and fairly used to being handled.

The common issue I realize on this site is the lack of customer service to almost being downright rude behavior.

I understand things are posted and the common response seems to be "read the description" or "it's in the description"; but this is a major turn off when shopping and/or purchasing a pet. For the most part it feels like communicating with a teenager or an adult that lacks good social mannerisms.

I had purchased a snake earlier which I found many of my questions from the seller "it's in the description" or "I already told you that"; when in fact information like "When was the snake last fed" was not answered.

I'd really rather not get into this, as there is little justification for turning my sale thread into a third party dispute.

I will state this, your question was posted less than 12 hours after I had posted this sale thread. Not an actual expression of interest, or for history on a particular snake or any other request for additional information. I sent a simple reply via PM - "The listing was just posted today, they are both available."

To which I received no response - and interestingly enough when I checked your profile later, I just happened to do so when it indicated you were reading your PMs. So I know you received the reply (some new posters only follow the threads, and don't realize they have a PM box, so I'm usually understanding of communication issues that result).

So while I sympathize with you feeling snubbed by someone else pointing out something obvious, you are not in a position to take the moral high ground on courteous behavior. You asked a question of rather vague intent to a seller in the thread body (said question better communicated via PM) and then didn't have the courtesy to reply to the response.

You're right I am shamed from your comment, "Caught red handed not responding to a seller's PM, and you still complained about poor service? Shame."

Good luck selling this reptile. How long has it been? Couldn't had been the customer service, nawh...

The comment "caught red-handed not responding to a seller's PM, and you still complained about poor service? Shame." was not left by Robert. It was left by me as negative karma for you, and is only viewable by you, and my username (snowgyre) is labeled clearly right next to the comment in your karma window. Robert had nothing to do with my comment, shame on you for projecting it onto him. Yet another example of your lack of reading comprehension.

Robert, I think you dodged a bullet with this buyer. Good luck with the sale, they're great looking animals.
