    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Scammed by Andrew Michael Popp Las Vegas, NV

Just a quick update, I offered my evident to the defendants attorney, his name is Will Hart. And they are remaining quiet and warning me about counter suing.

As I agreed, I refrained from saying anything else, until I consulted the law firm again. The defendants absolutely 100% will not provide the genetics, despite the pending lawsuit, and all things considered, my law firm had agreed to take my case, but will involve a fee and contingency.

Even with my stating that I would offer to "get over" the other discrepancies upon genetic approval - even if they could prove they believe the genetics exist.

But I'm certain it's a lie, and my claim remains.

So we will meet in court, I am hopeful that I can defeat the scammers

He was in law enforcement you know! He's like the Deputy Dog of the herp world at this point. Not much to take seriously.
 
Since you injected Will Hart, your attorney, into this, have him post here. I'm sure he can't wait to bury anyone who isn't on his payroll.

This is an outright lie. It never happened. In criminal procedure, you do not have the burden of the proof, the state has the burden of the proof.

Since you were caught in a lie as you recounted what another party said, all of your subsequent tales of what someone has said or done is suspect.
You have provided almost no actual evidence in this thread, but plenty of stories about what other people say. You are a confirmed lier, so those stories don't hold much weight.
You seem to respond for reasonable requests for actual evidence with personal attacks. Perhaps you have no evidence, but if you choose not to post fact, don't expect us to believe when you post fiction.

What I get from this is what I have suspected all along. You do not actually KNOW that the turtles aren't het. You suspect. You THINK they aren't. All this fuss and attacking the guy, and a business who isn't even part of the transaction, because you THINK you have non het turtles. You have a contract in place about them proving out, as I've said before. You decided you wanted to reverse the transaction without letting the contract play out. To me, that's you breaking the contract.

Let me ask you this: since you think they aren't hets, but don't truly know - what if you are wrong? You've attacked the guy and the business over and over, saying how you want to bring them down, etc. You've called them names and dragged through the mud because you THINK something.

It is not fair how you have attacked them. I think that's what really gets me with this. I get that you believe that you're in the right, but that's not proof. How would you feel if someone attacked you like this, over something they believed but wasn't factually proven?

You both signed the contract. So let them prove out, or not. If not, you have a contract. If he doesn't make it good, I think you'd have an easy win if you took him to court. Now, this has turned ugly. It's just seems.....unnecessary.

Right, I can't 100% prove that one inconsistency yet, but I can prove all the others.

I feel very safe saying they are absolute not hets. He posted them six months earlier as not hets, then lied about them being the same.

Then it became revealed that the turtles were sold to his employer, nobody ever said anything about hets.

Andrew said to me "I didn't think het gene would cause a fuss either way"

And said he doesn't know much about het. His employer was originally shocked - then lawyered up.

There are folks in this biz that are extremely knowledgeable about carsno gene. These turtles are not het.

I don't need 100% (even though I will have soon anyway) I have the reasonable doubt. And the scam is a scam - he waited six months and added tremendous size and genetics thus drastically increasing the value.

The employers involvement needs to be decided by a court. I'm willing to stand by my claim, and I'm willing to accept another loss, if that's what happens to me.
 
Yeah, I get the concerns but there is that line between being certain and being proven....I guess that's why we have courts. How long does it take to get a court date, and all that stuff? When our homeowners association had an issue with contractor, it took over a year to get a court date. Kind of crazy. Get those turtles to breeding size in the meantime and maybe that's more evidence one way or the other.

I have the in 80 degree water, with heavy basking and UV areas. I feed twice daily and I have a strong Breeder caramel male with them. I am seeing significant dancing and breeding behavior.

And I'm very hopeful at least one will become gravid soon. If I was proven to be wrong, make no mistake I'll come on here and say I'm wrong.

One is six inches, and he said they are adults. I think they are too small and young, but since some are quick to point out my shortcomings.

I'm gonna give it my best effort

Moreover, I can likely grow them some, as Nick pointed out, with proper husbandry and feeding.

So I am giving it my best shot, I may could prove them out prior to an actual trial. I'm gonna try do my due diligence
 
I know this might be seen as off topic for this thread but I do believe it shows your character. I'm not a turtle person but breeding any animal before it's of size effects it's health/growth. IMO risking their health just to prove your point asap rather than waiting for them to grow isn't something an honest person with morals would do.
