    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My "obsessive digging" for posts involved scrolling to the bottom of this page and looking at the "Similar Threads" section.....LOL. If that is your definition of "obsessive" then I'd hate to see what REAL obsession looks like to you, Nick.
 
To be perfectly honest, I don't believe that anyone paid you to post here. I truly believe that you got so butthurt on Facebook that you came here and posted of your own accord.

Did he state it as a fact? If so then he was lying. I seem to remember him stating it as a hypothetical though.

But hey, I know you're grasping for anything at all right now, so I guess that kind of works.

Don't play that game, Nick. You know exactly what he said and what he meant. It was stated as a fact, although an alleged third party fact according to him.

Funny how you admit he is lying, yet I'M the one "grasping"? Irony doesn't even begin to describe this. :rofl:
 
Just to make sure I understand this David: Jim is a bad guy because he blocked you on Facebook. Then you dig and find out David Reid had a bad experience with him and said Jim owes him $400 3 years ago. David comes to this post and says he doesn't need the money. Jim says he'll donate the money to USARK in David Reid's name then.

And you're STILL trying to turn this into a bad guy thread? Jesus Christ dude. If you're trying to claim this isn't something personal for you I'd say you're a bad liar.

Where is it stated as a fact? It's not even stated as a hypothetical by Jim, it's stated as a third party hypothetical lol.

This is an honest question, Nick: Is English your first language? Because if the answer is no, then I can forgive/understand your abhorrent comprehension levels and the trouble you have interpreting written word when you are making your replies.

Nowhere in this thread have I used the words "bad guy" when referring to Jim. I have stated that he has displayed questionable ethics, and thus far I believe, based on evidence put forth, that is undeniable.

Calling ME a "bad liar" when the ONLY person proven to actually be lying in this thread has been Jim reeks of a personal bias if any statement ever has on the BOI. I keep thinking you won't surprise me with your next comment and you continue to prove me wrong.
 
Hey Dan, remember way back when when I posted out the "bad deal" in child like terms and then you typed out a huge block of nonsense telling me how wrong and dumb I was only to have David Reid come and describe what happened almost exactly as I already had? Weird, right?
 
Let me put it this way David: based on your comprehension level thus far and the fact that you apparently can't comprehend that paragraph, I don't think you should be the one asking people if English is their first language. Honest statement :)

Can you please point out, as I already asked, where Jim stated the payment thing as fact? Or just admit you're reaching? Either one is fine with me.

You're right, this obviously isn't a bad guy thread, you made this thread because you really like Jim. My mistake. How could I have been so foolish as to think this was a bad guy thread? You didn't even put the "bad guy" tag at the front, so clearly that's not your intention.

Since you've been having comprehension issues, I'd like to make very clear that that entire first paragraph was heavy sarcasm. Just so you don't misread it and post something dumb again.

Look, if you have to try this hard to make someone look bad, it might be time to consider that they're not. Just stating from a logical point of view.
 
Who are the people who told Jim that I allegedly received money to post this thread? Sounds like he knows a lot of people with dirt on me, so surely those folks would come here and let the world see how devious I truly am.

He seemed pretty confident in his statements. Lets clear the air, and see some evidence. Even a corroboration from someone would be a start.

Who are these 50 people that I solicited? Can even one or two of them come forward to back Jim up on his claims?

I did not fabricate a single thing, twist the truth in any way or lie about anything posted in this thread or any thread I have EVER participated in. Thats not going to change.

So David, here's the post you're referencing. Again, read. You made this post hoping 50 people would come and say how bad Jim was, and instead of that you got 50 people saying the opposite. That's what he's referencing in the next message which you quoted. Which as I stated, is simply proof that he's old and makes a lot of errors while typing quickly.

If your proof that he's a bad guy is that he makes typing errors, there are a lot more bad guys out there then I realized.

Stop reaching. It's not making your case.
 
From an unbiased perspective, I don't see anything wrong. It's good to bring this to someone's attention that he is dealing with a person with a bad record. Yes it may be unethical to some but leave it at that. Let future customers know this, let them inquire and make their own assumptions/decisions. But that is all it should be used for. Both parties are going out of each other's way to create drama and trying to tarnish reputations. This is literally turning into a pissing contest between multiple people and quite absurd (Sorry if that word is not allowed here, not sure if it counts as profane).
 
I appreciate the feedback, William. I knew going into this thread that some would take issue, and I still accept/understand that.

One thing I have always gone out of my way to do is show the truth, however ugly it might be, and no matter how many people don't want to see it. There are still some of us in this hobby that strive to maintain a higher level of ethics, morality and culpability. This thread was for those people, and those who wish to truly know the people they do business with.

Drama is sometimes an unfortunate side effect to telling the truth. I wish that were not the case, because despite what anyone might think I do not enjoy that aspect. I do however enjoy uncovering information and learning new things about people.
