In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Nick Lillis

I understand that your trying to get someone to come out and say i have sent unhealthy animals in the past. But I speak with ever customer prior to receiving their reptiles to see how things are going and I have not hear negative or had a negative BOI after purchase of my animals so far besides with Traci. Personally as i said I think it is time for me and her to work this out privately or on here if she likes. But she has just been watching behind the scenes as she has viewed the thread multiple times with no response. So does she really want to resolve this? Considering she has asked for a refund, and also said she doesn't want one. Then she also said she wants the money and the monkey tails. Which I believe as I think anyone will agree that is not possible. All her responses seem to play both sides of the fence. This is my last response to anyone but Traci. Thanks.

Nick I do not believe you two should talk on the phone, use a verifiable means of communication such as email.
I think later today when she has the vet report she should post it here, and with those facts the two of you can proceed to a solution through email. If either of you blocks the other or does not respond to the other within a reasonable time frame, that person cannot then complain as they are the author of their own problem in that case.

If the vet recommended pulling off the sheds and rubbing the raw wound with helichrysum oil it should be there on the vet report in writing. Also, something was said about the critter being skinny, average skink weights for that species is available and the vet will have recorded the skinks weight at the visit, so no more needless quibbling about lizard waistlines, the facts will be there for all to see.

Lucille, there are average weights for a given reptile, however, the best way to tell if a reptile is underweight, thin, is by visually looking at the back, hips and tail. The animal was thin and no question about it.... looks emaciated to me.

And Nick, I am not "trying" to get anyone to do anything. You boast of your great reptiles in this rant, yet I look at those pics and they are awful... sorry but a pic is worth a thousand words. I have been respectfully asking you a question in another group and you did avoid it for a long while. Kept responding to others and ignored mine. I had to ask you so many times until you finally went on this all caps rant.

Come on Nick... you just said you have 2 flawless Corucia there if she wants them. Whey didnt you just send her those to begin with?

She asked for males so I sent her what i was told were males first by the previous owner. I told her I cannot guarantee sex(shown in texts)as monkey tails are not an easy animal to sex.

This is my last response to anyone but Traci.

There is the issue with your customer, which I hope the two of you will solve later today. Then, there is your reputation here. Refusing to communicate when there are obviously issues is your prerogative; and it is the prerogative of readers to take into account in their future purchase considerations that you refuse to be transparent when issues arise.

Your Paypal 'friends and family' requirement, and your lack of transparency add up to someone who is stacking the cards against the buyer while simultaneously proclaiming to be all about working things out.

You can showcase your business by inviting and responding to questions from others who might be imagining themselves in a transaction involving you, and solving the issues here in a way that all agree is fair to you and your customer, or you can clam up. Your choice.

Just a note. Seems people keep asking about the 2nd Corucia zebrata. Both are pictured... post #1 is the bigger one and post # 2 the top 2 pics are of both animals, with the smaller animal on top, with stuck shed, thin tail, and hip bones. So both are shown... not going to run this into the ground... just look at the pics.

She asked for males so I sent her what i was told were males first by the previous owner. I told her I cannot guarantee sex(shown in texts)as monkey tails are not an easy animal to sex.

Nick, your reasoning and answer to why you did not send me the 2 "better", and "flawless animals I would be more happy with," was that "I wanted males." Yet, in the pic you sent to me of what you were sending (found in post #5 of the PMs I provided), it shows the same exact animal listed in your old ad here on fauna, from April where you directly state "This girl is amazing! She is a beast and will eat whatever we put in her bowl! Amazing animal! Asking $900."

Traci, please share with us how many animals you have and whether or not the new arrivals were quarantined. If so, how?

Thats when i was told both were male by the original owner but i had a different opinion due to the way the proven males i had at the time were acting toward it. As i also told you in text messages that he though it was a male but my guess was it was a girl (see attached.) Either way im done with the back and fourth we are not even discussing a solution. Bottomline what would you like to do to solve this? I would like to come to a mutual agreement

in reply....

The only person here that influenced my opinion is YOU! Your texts were appalling. Just out of curiosity, how many animals do you have? Did you quarantine the new arrivals?

With all due respect, I understand you may not like me, or approve of the fact that I called him a name. I get that, but please do not let an emotional reaction towards me sway you from the facts. I may be mouthy at times, but that mouthiness is always telling the truth. I may be seen as "politically incorrect" to some, because of me calling him a name, but it is what it is.

The simple truth is that he sent me sick animals. The pics I included in my 1st post, where we are outside? The skink I was working on, was literally sliding off my leg as I was taking pics and I had to reposition him a few times so that he could get a grasp and hold on. This was not due to the missing claws, either as he's had 3 ripped out or off (2 on one "hand" and one on the other) and is able to use the others left remaining. It was simply a matter of having enough strength to hold on.

So yes, I always qt my animals. And in this case, I DEFINITELY qt'd them in a separate area/enclosure because of how bad they looked coming out of the box. With their inability to grasp very much (and MT skinks grasp VERY hard when healthy) and the fact that one of them was holding its eyes closed and the overall very poor condition of the animals, I was not going to take any chances.

Your question of my other animals? I will include some pics in the post.

your response was that I wanted males, and thats why you sent the "less healthier" animals instead of the "flawless" ones I would like better after I paid for them and you sent them. It seems that even if you thought one was male and one was female, or both were males, you still would have chosen to send me the 2 "healthier" animals, no matter what my preferences were, Nick.

Also, in the original inquiry w you, I stated I wanted 1.1 AND in my original post here, I was very fair and honest in stating that you did not guarantee sex....So that isn't the issue, here. The issue is this:

If you knew I wanted 2 females and they were the "sicker" ones and not the "Flawless" ones...would you then have just sent me the 2 females no matter their condition? Same question about 2 males, or a mixed gender...Or would you have given me full disclosure and informed me that the animals needed to recover, or get better, or get into a more saleable shape before you could send them?

Traci im asking you do you want to resolve this. If so how? I have no resentment to you ad a person i just want to end this peacefully

Do you want a refund? Or do you want to keep the animals? My ver is aware of the issue and ready for arrival if the refund route is your decision

I appreciate that offer. I just want your assurance that you will not ship out sick animals, anymore.

I will drop the claim, even. And then we can move forward about you paying half the vet bill. Does that sound amenable?

Thats exactly what i was trying to get to from the start please post the vet bill with the diagnosis from the vet themself on here! Thank you!

a few more

I know a couple of these are not my MT skink babies, but I thought you might want to see a bit more...

I am going to the vet in a bit. They did not eat last night, so he will probably want to do more for them. I will also be getting them tested for parasites and so on. I will let you know and will provide whatever is provided, to me, to you....

TY for offering the refund (or covering part of vet bill) directly to me. If you cannot contact me via FB, you can always contact me using the phone number I provided when shipping and when I texted you so angrily that night. Very glad we can work this out. Just PLEASE do not ship animals like this, in this condition, again.

WOW, this BOI is doing what it's meant to do....Resolving issues and so on...Very nice. TY, Fauna BOI
