    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Even if the guilty party is found innocent? Anyone doing a quick search could get the wrong idea if the don't read carefully. This isn't the place for this discussion I understand, but that just doesn't seem like a fair system?

That's why everyone should read the whole thread before making a decision on whether a seller/buyer is a good/bad guy.

Dan does not appear to be a scammer, and came through with the lizards. So he appears innocent of wrongdoing.
The phone was disabled apparently at the precise moment it was needed to help continue the transaction.

However, I think that Dan could have, with the help of a friend's phone and a little time, gotten through to his buyer and reassured him sooner.

There is value in this thread.
Not only does it show that such an accident can totally derail plans, put it may also plant a seed in future reader-sellers, that if such events should ever happen to them, that some effort at swift communication may head off reactions by their buyers, perfectly understandable reactions, when a planned shipment doesn't happen so that the buyers, with no communication, do not think the worst and start such threads.
Both sides gain by good communication.
