    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I came across this Albino Alligator Lizard hatching in my house. Are these rare? Never seen or heard of an albino alligator lizard.

I'm sure you have already been approached about selling it, I would not take the first offer that comes along. If you are even trying to sell it.

That is a beautiful and rare find!

I personally would try to find someone local who has a fair amount of experience with alligator lizards to give or sell it to. Specifically someone who has bred and raised babies. Incredible little guy given to you by the lizard gods. Take him seriously.

Moving this to the discussion forums since it doesn't appear to be an ad.

"Nordic" you have a PM regarding your name/location fields.

Anyone here have tips on feeding choices for hatchling? Trying pinhead crickets, calciworms, and fruit flies. Going to also collect some amphipods. I reas these also like slugs, might try them as well?

My backyard is devoid of pesticides for 5 years so I think they should be safe.

Your back yard may be free of pesticides but how about your neighbor's yard and your neighbor's neighbor? Please take the time to care for the animal correctly or find someone who can. I'm not trying to be rude or harsh but you have very unique animal and needs to be treated as such.

Still looking healthy. Very secretive. Pinhead crickets disappearing so must be eating at night.

Yeah I understand that. I don't want to force feed though. I live on the outskirts of a national forest so I may just take a few mile hike in and try collecting in the wilderness I'm going to reach out to fellow herps and try to get some captive need amphipods. Will start my own colony as well.

Is quite small, I think mini mealworms may be too large. I hope he discovers the small plastic top with Castle worms in it since those seem to go down easy for the smaller reptiles.

Calciworms, soldier fly larvae are small enough. It can eat dubias, red runners and numerous other roaches.
