Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I sent Jon Boone about $2000 a while back, and he was good about staying in contact, but disappeared about 6-8 months ago. Does anyone have his new address or other contact information. He had been good to work with in the past, but seems to have just gone MIA, any help is appreciated.
 
If you do a search on him this shows up a bit. I dealt with him twice. Once I paid then he till six months to ship, once we had a trade and took three months after receiving my animal to ship what he owed me. Full of exercises. I'll definitely never buy from him again but again search fauna and I think it's so common people called it getting "booned"
 
He has owed me $1500 worth of animals for 4 years now, he used to answer emails but no more. I also sent him texts and a face book message, neither of which he ever replied to.
 
I heard that he has some kind of Family Breakdown.

I heard he had a family breakdown, and a crazy new girlfriend who was isolating him from his kids and the hobby.. Hard to imagine that he is leaving the hobby for good. Does anyone have a mailing address or way to get hold of him? Maybe I just need to go and find him live to get the animals.
 
He's probably hiding. There's numerous people on this forum that he owes and probably many more we've not heard from. Would you come out of your cave if that many people were after you?

I sent the money during one of his honorable periods where he was sending animals to people that I knew. Thanks for everyone's advice, if anyone has a way to get hold of him, where he works, lives or contact info, that would be great.
 
So what happens if you do find him! Your only recourse or anyone elses is small claims court. This graveyard is full of dead beat corpses that always seem to appear again and again. In this case, its very conceivable that he may file for chapter 13 to absolve his debts (just guessing) but not so far fetched especially if he had legal family issues.

John has a history and its pretty well tarnished. His absence may be more premeditated on advise of others until he decides to do otherwise. Ive seen it before. Unpleasant as it may be for those who put there money and faith in John to fulfill his obligation, not much anyone can do about it other than take civil action . That may lead to a personal bankruptcy.
 
Forced into bankruptcy

I am not 100% certain, but you may be able to force him into bankruptcy. It really would require an attorney to answer that. But that is the only way you can see what his finances are, including tax returns, etc.

Its worth pursuing if you can get some good advise. . JERRY
 
He's been MIA for quite a while. He still lurks on Facebook, but he ripped me off as well, or I should say attempted to. After I posted on Facebook groups of his full scam with screenshots his wife (at the time) reached out and sent me a money order for the full amount. He's a bad guy, and someone that should be avoided, he has ripped off a ton of people and he usually does it by having a couple of good transactions with a person first, I'm guessing to build trust, and then eventually he rips you off. I know a lot of hobbyists who have a story about Jon.
 
He's local to me, definitely still around the tulsa area. Heard him call in on the radio the other day. But he's been MIA in the local community for a long time.
 
I was under the impression he owned and operated Geckos Unlimited. A website devoted to geckos , buying and selling. JERRY
