    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

had a wolf snake come in the mail other day. they said he was flighty and defensive. had him for 3 days now and he seems sick. wont move at all in enclosure. very lethargic does not want to move at all. wont open its mouth even. im actually hoping it bites because to feel better about it not being sick! it may have mouth rot though not sure as usually they would open mouth if was the case and as stated, she does not open her mouth at all.the shipping was shitty box was messed up she definetly had a tough ride. any ideas would be helpful. i was excited to have her so i can help teach my son how to work with a flighty specimen. now im just bummed out that i might have a potentially dying snake.

Shipped to you via the US mail? :face_palm_02:

From where? Any chances it could have been exposed to cold temps along the way?

yes us mail and potentially. but the delivery kid was a sadist. my box had plants in it and it was all damaged. they must of shook it profusely.

Damn that’s terrible. However I don’t think even shaking the box could cause the broken jaw. If it is broken or even the broken spine.

u can hear the bone crack as she tries to move. i can feel it. it literally crack. the jaw is just what im speculating but i literally cannot force feed. she will not open her mouth. if u pry any harder im worried i will damage

Take it to a vet for x-rays to see what is going on. I have heard of snakes being injured in shipping and recovering, but they need a lot of TLC and supportive care.

I’d have a hard time believing injuries like that were not present prior to shipping

Depends. Might have been interesting and illuminating to see pics of the box if was received in.
