I too would like to learn if folks have found this to be legitimate source for per Egyptians in the United States??
Sorry Guys , this is Mahmoud Nasr , The guy who added this threat , But It didn't go well between me and Him , So I didn't Follow up the posts .
Sorry Again .
Now I've My Own Company and getting ready to Export , For Those Who want to ask for references , feel free to contact me at: mahmoud @ tutmasr . com
Why are so many of the photos on your website lifted from other sites without attribution? For example, the Ptyodactylus guttatus on this page (https://tutmasr.com/geckos/) comes from this photographer's site: https://mwilsonherps.com/africa-arabia/egypt-2021/
The Ptyodactylus ragazzi on that page comes from a 2014 Flickr upload here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ogaden/13964470259
The Hemidactylus flaviviridis on that page comes from https://reptile-database.reptarium.cz/species?genus=Hemidactylus&species=flaviviridis
Why does your website contain claims that indicate almost complete ignorance of reptiles, such as "While it is true that some reptiles, like turtles and crocodiles, do lay their eggs in water, not all reptiles follow this pattern." (https://tutmasr.com/reptile-myths-and-facts-about-reptiles-you-didnt-know/)
I'm trying not to " send wrong species " , I've seen people do that , which I hate
sometimes i use AI for content
I wasn't thinking that the wrong species would be sent. What I was thinking was that many people claim to have animals for sale that they don't in fact possess, and accept payment on said alleged animals without providing said animals. Given the somewhat peculiar path this thread has taken, and given the fact that your own website and FB page are less than 6 months old, using stolen photos is one of a few observations that raise some concern.
That's interesting. I just ran pretty much all the text on your blog post here ( https://tutmasr.com/egyptian-exporter-reptiles/ ) and your gecko page here ( https://tutmasr.com/geckos/ ) through an AI detector ( https://contentatscale.ai/ai-content-detector/ ). It all tested positive for AI generated content. (I ran my own TOS through that detector as a control; it tested negative since I wrote it myself.)
Basically nothing on your website is yours, it seems -- neither the pictured animals nor the content. Oh, by the way: it isn't any more legitimate to simply credit the person who's content it is (I see you have now noted the source on one of the photos I pointed out). Permission from that person needs to be acquired first, especially for commercial use.
Using all this material that's not your own is an odd practice by someone who claims to have been "in the field of exporting & importing reptiles for more than 15 years and Counting", providing taxa "that include snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocodiles" (sources: https://tutmasr.com/about/ ; https://tutmasr.com/egyptian-exporter-reptiles/).
Sadly , That sometimes happensI wasn't thinking that the wrong species would be sent
Before that I didn't even think of having my own Company , But under some circumstances I had to register a company. That's why It only started by July or August 2023 .and given the fact that your own website and FB page are less than 6 months old, using stolen photos is one of a few observations that raise some concern.
Again , Thanks for letting me know That I'll still have to Get their permission .(I see you have now noted the source on one of the photos I pointed out). Permission from that person needs to be acquired first, especially for commercial use.
