    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Purchased from Vic Herrick in AZ with the intention of breeding but due to growing family I need to let them go
Selling as a pair for $3,000 I have 2 animalplastics enclosures that can go with them for $500 (72" x 30" x 18 ")
I am located in Peoria AZ selling local in AZ ONLY WITH VALID AZ DRIVERS LICENSE OR STATE ID
these guys require permits to cross state lines

A 4 year old, 4 foot long eastern would be considered dwarfed, no?
Also curious if they are siblings, given the problems we have with inbreeding of this protected species. Isnt dwarfism one of the suspected results of inbreeding?

These 2 are from the same breeder but not the same parents. I'm not sure if dwarfism is a symptom of inbreeding in this species.
I know the females of this species tend to be smaller than their male counterparts and can grow slower or faster depending on the individual and feeding schedule. I've heard its likely all captive bred Drymarchon Couperi are likely related to some degree.
 
Just measured her because I was guessing in my original post. She is actually 62" and I will update my post. Thank you for bringing this up lol.
 
Yes, all but the undisclosed Texas hybrids are related now, which means they are likely to decline in captivity. But that decline will be accelerated greatly by keepers breeding siblings. The snakes sold across State lines have to have licenses that describe parentage. In-state this is not required. So I hope at least the breeder has provided good records.

Vic is one of the best indigo breeders out there. I believe he dna tests all of his breeders to guarantee the most possible genetic variation.
