So this person Mark Robbin https://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/members/markrepfasc.237079/ replied to one of my wanted posts. He offered me two turtles. 1 large scorpion mud, 1 large white lipped mud. Originally he asked for 300$ shipped but said he's open to offers.
So I asked if he'd do 165$. He says yes, this was through an email he told me to respond to.
He then sends me his paypal account which was a different email from the one used(thats fine, I use spoof emails to feel out interactions so spammers dont have my main email). He was supposed to ship out thursday for friday arrival. He said he couldnt, and apologized. I asked for a refund to try again the following week.
He ignores me asking for that, and says hell ship out on friday. I said no, Id rather wait till next week. He said ok, ill ship out next week. I said refund it and ill repay the following week. He ignores then I say atleast ship it friday because hes acting sketchy to me. Guy says he will, comes friday- absolutely no response. No tracking numbers. I file a claim through paypal, then I get emailed by a lady with broken english asking why I am messing with her account reputation. Asks me to cancel claim. Says to talk it out with him. Says he took the money out. I said no, I want my money back. Then apparently he goes on paypal talking in spanish to try to throw them off as a misunderstanding. I spoke back in spanish, then radio silence by him. The lady messages me, saying to give her my whatsapp that shell put us both together. That she wasnt aware of all of this. That he apparently sent it. I asked where tracking is, says he dont have it. Its already monday. No package from fedex or ups. Figured he lied and sent it 3 day shipping, still no usps either. I get prenotifications of all packages that are being delivered to my house- tracking or no tracking(its a service).
The lady tells me to cancel claim that I wont win, etc. etc.
I caught him today checking out the forums.
He IS STILL TRYING TO SCAM. He's also dropped different emails in different threads. Normally not alarming but given the behavior.
Still waiting for paypal to escalate dispute to claim.
